Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Follow our curator page: IndieGems if you like and want to see more reviews like this one.
Nubla is a very short and simple platforming game with some basic point-n-click puzzles that really could be so much more. It's a bit too short, and the puzzles are a bit too simple for the game to be worthwhile for the general audience. Expect to take about an hour to get this game to 100% completion if you don't encounter any serious glitches.
Gameplay
Progress room to room and find out the way to exit. There are only a small handful of puzzles in this game and they are all really easy.
Controls
Keyboard or Controller. No mouse controls which is a huge oversight.
Graphics
Good artwork, hand-painted and pretty to look at.
Music & Sounds
The music is pretty nice, though I felt that it got repetitive even in the short time the game was running. There was no way to turn the music on/off or to adjust volume/sound effects.
Pricing
$5.99 base is a bit high, since there's not really any replay value and the game is really short. Though on the merits of the artwork, it may be worthwhile to some people, but not many.
Positives
+The artwork is really good in this game +Easy 100% completion for people who care about getting achievements
Negatives
-It's a platfomer that doesn't need the platforming parts -Too many glitches (I had posted the ones I found to the forums) -Too short -Narrative is relatively uninteresting -No mouse controls (the game plays like a point-n-click without the ability to use the mouse to click) -Puzzles too easy
My First-Look Video
https://youtu.be/M8yIkDKAbQM
Conclusion
Nubla just doesn't quite capture the audience to be worthwhile. For an adventure-type game, you should expect to have a good story/narrative, fun gameplay mechanic, mind-bending or at least thoughtful puzzles, among a few other things. This game seems more like a teaser and a demo that doesn't go deep enough in any of those categories to captivate the audience. I think the game aims to be somewhat educational in terms of art, but it really doesn't do a good enough job, because after playing through, I still don't know a lick of art more than I did before I started to play. It has good artwork, but that alone is not enough to make this game stand out.
I received the product for free. I did not receive any compensation to write this review. Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
Recommend: On sale. Currently on sale at a historical low, so now would be the time. This was a short puzzle game with some nice visuals. Not bad if you are into this type of game and do not mind short. Food for thought, the project was developed by students during their internship under the coordination of Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and Gammera Nest. Sadly, given its normal price being so high and the niche group that will be interested I don't think this game will ever meet the Steam player engagement to leave Profile Feature Limited status which is a shame. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2838057528
Info
Profile Features Limited so will not be usable in your profile showcases or count on Steam's ach statistics or game count until "player engagement" is met.

Q. What metrics are used to qualify a game for profile customization features?
A. Our confidence metric is based on sales and player engagement figures. We do not include data from user reviews, wishlists, total playtime, or any other judgment of the "quality" of the game. We're simply looking for a broad player base.
no save and hard to exit without losing what youive played quit takes you back to main menu which only takes you back to the game
Excellently crafted art that is seamlessly woven through the gameplay. Beautiful sound track and quirky character designs, Interesting puzzles, just a rock solid game all around. https://youtu.be/9JwoQjl8O4k
There is short, and then there is Nubla, less than 1 hour short. For a moment, I thought the tutorial was over; it was the end credits. Not a point n' click. Someone should educate Educa Thyssen about video games. This is a puzzle-platformer where platforming poses zero challenge to your skills (only to your patience when waiting for slow platforms,) and where the half handful of puzzles practically solve themselves. Moreover, to my surprise, this has no educational value. Not a single piece of info included. Made by a museum. About that museum. Most likely subsidised by a ministerio de cultura. Vapid. Not worth a dime. Barely worth a peseta.
Quite liked the artistic vision for this game. Looking forward to the sequel.
The aesthetics of the game are appealing, the story is sweet, and the puzzles are pretty rather than hard. I will be playing another round for some of the missable achievements. I did get this on sale, as some of the more critical reviews recommended. I do love art games, puzzle games, and psychedelia so this game might be perfect for players with similar tastes to mine. EDIT 1: I see Nubla 2 is due to be released - looking forward to playing more!
