Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 9.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
How Many Dudes? is a roguelike dudebuilder that's all about game-breaking synergies and simulated chaos.

Welcome to the Dude Ranch, where you recruit and manage your ever-expanding army of Dudes
Choose from a wild cast of 42 Unique Dudes across 6 Dude Families: Undead Dudes, Employed Dudes, Warrior Dudes, Fantasy Dudes, Sci-Fi Dudes, and Action Dudes.
Setup your Team to mix and match Dude Types and form ridiculous synergies - like Zombie Dudes who explode when struck by enemies, Ninja Dudes who throw a barrage of Shurikens, or Cowboy dudes who lasso other Dudes out of danger.
More than 850,000 Team compositions means there's tons of strategies and overpowered combos to discover.

Create game-breaking synergies with your choice of Dudes, Trinkets, and Relics
Collect hundreds of Dude Relics that warp the rules of battle. Make your Wizard Dudes fling a volley of fireballs when they move, your Ninja Dudes enter stealth when in danger, or your Finance Dudes generate cash with a life insurance policy on your other Dudes.
Defeat Act Bosses to earn Trinkets - powerful items assigned to a Dude Type that enable game breaking strategies. Should you give your Wizard Dudes ADHD, or give your Samurai Dudes a Taser? It's up to you!
Choose your Dudes wisely. Each Dude has their place in battle, from dishing out damage to tanking it to commanding other Dudes. Find the right balance between offense and defense, and see if your team can make it all the way to the final act.

Face escalating enemy waves—from toddlers to wolves to gorillas to gods
Conquer boss fights that test your team’s synergy (and your sanity).
Defeat bosses to earn Silver and Gold stars for each Dude, and see if you can master them all!

Strategic roguelike autobattler full of game-breaking synergies
42 Unique Dude Types to recruit and build out your team
Hundreds of Relics, Trinkets, and Wandering Dude events that completely reshape each run

How many dudes needed to bring down owo?

Kind of reminds me of a highly polished Flash game from Newgrounds. Great game if you are really lazy or want to waste an hour doing something where you don't have to put much thought into it. Runs on pretty much anything. (There is a mobile version!)
I enjoyed the demo the game is more of the same. I think the 10 dollar sale price is the appropriate price vs the normal price. It is satisfying to watch the dudes fight there are enough combos to keep you coming back for awhile, but do not expect Binding of Isaac levels of value for your money which is where I think the negative reviews come from. Would be good on mobile as the game is basically an auto battler mixed with resource management
Lots of fun trying out combos
I love the idea, the design and the theme. I really want to like it, but there is one thing, that brings me to refund the game - the gameplay. It is boring. You decide if the dudes fight a normal, or a harder fight. Then you choose reward XY which changes values. Thats it. It's an very very passiv game. You don't need to be smart or skilled to play this game. Your skills and your smartness doesn't make a difference. I thought about, to support the sweet dudes anyway, but a game has to be fun and it is not fun to play - at least if you want to do more then look at nice pictures, adorable dudes and make little choices. I will watch the development. Maybe I give it a try again in a year. Hopefully their is more to do then. We need more dudes games. I love dude games. Everyone loves dude games with cool dudes. Hail dudes. Ps.: Some more ingame tracks would be cool.
Nah but for real how many dudes does it take to beat up a gorilla? What about ninja dudes? Construction dudes? Office dudes? These burning existential questions were left unanswered for too long. If you like auto-battlers I strongly encourage you to give this game a go. It's a blast.
Its pretty good. I do think there are dudes who fill certain niches and make other dudes almost irrelevant by comparison. I also believe that the game would be better with a somewhat more gradual difficulty curve for the round by round increase. The issue with the steep curve the game takes is that you are always incentivized to sacrifice the short term for the long term and when I say always, I mean always. That essentially means that once you get very familiar with the game, you realize that you never have to weigh your current circumstance in a run and make an objective decision, instead just opting for the choice that gives you the best spike in the later rounds. I think the game could be a lot more fun with more variety because stumbling upon synergies that you didnt think would work, is where this game is at its best. The problem with team building for endless at the moment is that their are 6 families and 5 roster spots, meaning that you are always building a team that consists of 5/6 families, one dude from each team. Certain standout dudes like ghosts and chefs often fill a role that it seems no one else can compete in, meaning that the rest of their family gets neglected because you want to take them but dont want to double up on a family. Introducing new families that contain dudes that compete with some of the strongest picks currectly, would open up those families for more team variety. I do think that if this game had 10 families instead of 6, it would naturally feel much less "solved" and therefor more fun. Ultimately the number of viable teams is what makes a game like this have staying power. I hope the devs continue to add and really try to make something special out of the solid backbone they have here. I would look to a game like brotato, who similarly, at launch was a bit flat, but have since expanded the game with a second whole map progression, and many more characters.
