Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the brutal conclusion to the Hotline Miami saga, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 19.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

gostei, jogo pica história tá mais detalhada comparando com a do primeiro jogo, mas continua sendo contada de forma fragmentada
Caveman TL;DR at bottom. (No Spoilers) Don't know why I got this game after playing Hotline Miami 1. The first game was enticing enough, and I feel vindicated that I've finally experienced both installments firsthand so I can form my own opinions about it, but as much as it's hailed for being a masterpiece, this game's more of a piece of art than it is an enjoyable video game. Now, these hot takes are fresh out of the oven. Piping hot, full of pus and covered in grease like reddit's most distinguished gentleman moderator. There's not much else that can be said about Hotline Miami 2's tastes other than how divisionary they've become, but just like Hitler, the core controversy started from attempting to achieve a higher calling in the world of Art. A good experience does not mean a fun playthrough. Hotline Miami 2's like that. It's got all the bells and whistles that allow it to avoid most of the community's spitballs, but not enough magic to push it over the finish line as a true giant of the industry its previous installment helped flower. From all the available information, it seems like the developers played their hand in a fashion that was only friendly in the sense of someone's uncle getting "friendly" in a school zone. It's edgy, self-confident. It's trying to say a lot, and accomplishes doing so, but only by degloving you with the dull end of a rusty hammer while high on psychedelics. You gotta admit, that's a unique experience! But is it a fun one? I've got my chips bet on otherwise. What especially leaves such a bad taste in my mouth is how it seems so comparatively little promise was put into the gameplay in comparison to its artistic expression, which even an hour or two of effort into the map design itself would have easily left the game as a more tolerable investment of 15.00 U.S smackers. The art, storytelling, messaging, and philosophical undercurrents are like fine wine that's only mixed with the gomutra that so many of the gameplay aspects fall short to. I don't really care how good the wine tastes; you can dress it up as an Indian "holy" drink, but it's still cow piss that's been mixed with wine. Again, sure, it's an interesting combination, and sure, the part of the drink that tastes like wine is pretty damn good, but perhaps it's better to admire it from a distance instead of gulping it down, you get me? If you watch somebody else getting punished by Hotline Miami 2 online, you're probably going to get an equivalent, if not superior experience through the inherent aspects that are the star of the series. The storytelling, art, expressionism to boot. Hell, it might've been better if this whole thing was a book or movie as-is. But as a video game that's meant to be enjoyed through its core gameplay mechanics, the medium becomes more of a deterrent than an addition, and I can't remember a single moment I felt genuinely rewarded playing through either of the Hotline Miami installments. Just less so for the first, to be fair. Caveman TL;DR: Me like story. Me like art, but no good enough. Me not like gameplay.

ОНИ ВСЕ ЗДОХЛИ
A neon infused, violent fever dream. While there are some issues, especially compared with the first, it's still a high octane, blood-pumping game!
