Amazing!
I bought this game on sale and I didn't really know what to expect from it, but having played it to completion it might be to me what Skyrim is to a lot of people: a world to get lost in. And while I'm not much of a fidelity kind of guy I must say it is a stunning world. The game has a very engaging setting and has very quick and fun gameplay. I recently played Assassin's Creed 3 and was instantly reminded of my hours spent wandering around in that game's Frontier hunting animals, secrets, and Englishman. But while hunting was pretty simple in AC3 hunting machines in this game is a lot more involved while barely slowing it down. The game is also very good at providing enough information about each machine such that you can plan on how to best take it down and it can be very rewarding take on a swarm of machines that would killed you 1 on 1 earlier in your playthrough. All of this really allowed me to get distracted in a positive way with whatever was on the horizon. I set waypoints to Exploration at the start of the game because that's my perfered way to play in any game and I would just spend my time on fun side-quests or "living off the land" for literal in-game weeks without seeing a friendly face, which felt very in-character. I reached base game max level around half way the main quest, and total max level around maybe 3/4th, which surprised me because I never actually focussed on levelling at all. All in all that does bring me to what I think is the "weakest" part of the game which is the main narrative and it's mystery. It's serviceable, don't get me wrong. Aloy is a nice enough character, it has some reasonably big names attached, and the cut scenes look nice (though I thought Aloy looked a bit more stilted in the FW content), so all in all it's fine really. That said, I do think the main "mystery" is a bit too simple, and maybe even a bit trite in this day and age. All in all I was never much in a hurry to get to next main quest past the Proving and thought some side quests were even a bit more engaging. The quest-line in the Hunter's Lodge and finding a daughter who might have comitted suicide were particular stand-outs for me. And lastly while I don't really want to make to big a deal of this, since it's clearly not the focus of the game, I do feel I need to mention that this game does fall short of AC3 when it comes to parkour and human combat (which I was surprised to learn was even in this game). Where machines often require a certain degree of setup and strategy human combat is most often just a case of shooting them in the head, and while the game always makes sure to give you the oppertunity for stealth it is often quicker to just headshot them with arrows. Parkour meanwile is both too limited and liable to get you killed, to the point where I often wonder why the game bothered with it to begin with. It provides for some nice views for sure, but that's about it.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Decent game. I played the original on PS4 however many years ago. It definitely has some signs of aging, even as a remaster. Pathing can get a bit awkward when you/your mount get stuck on rocks along the way. Unlike the second game, elemental weapons seem like a bonus rather than necessary tools. The remastered version has access to very few mods which, if you like modding to increase a game's longevity, can be a bummer. Overall, still a good time.
JUEGAZO
I'm glad I decided to give this game another chance after forgetting about it for years. The story is especially worth playing through and immersing yourself in. The keyboard controls are done very well, and in my opinion, feel great. My one and only issue would be how the camera magnetizes depending on which way you walk, and you are not able to turn it off without finding a third-party mod or software.
O jogo é muito interessante!
Игра классная! Только я не заметил разницу от обычной версии.
Starts of a bit slow, but is really engaging once you get to the end of the tutorial and the plot picks up. Enjoyed the story, characters, and world building. Together with gorgous visuals it's the highlight of the game. Gameplay doesn't really pick up untill you aquire some of the diffrent weapons, tough it depends on what difficulty you play at, on the lower difficulties it's easy to ignore a lot of the weapons and just brute force and a the higher end they lean towards being massive damage sponges. Enemy encounters do become a bit repetitieve and it's tempting to just wear stealth bonused armor and keep running untill anything you aggro is leashed back to it's spawn point. And while a lot of the enemies you fight are fun, with intresting attack patterns, weak points, etc, there are some that basically are just Damage sponges with extreme fast movement that will just rush into mellee, slap you half to death while having few or very hard to actually exploit weakness, most of the enemies added by the expansion are guilty of this. Doubly annoying if you get two of those going at you at once. The UI can sometimes be problematic when using a mouse and keyboard, as using the scroll wheel to quickly move up and down in the inventory or data UI has a tendency to just go up and down or all the way to the top in an inconsistent manner. Inventory is a bit of a pain to manage, there is no quick way to compare weapon upgrades in your inventory with those on each weapon, you can't even sort the weapon/armour upgrade inventory by rarity or effect strenght. Quick use of consumables like potions and traps s is also cumbersome, as you need to quickly tap trough the entire list of items (plus the lure enemy and summon mount abilities) till you select the right one... in combat. And this is just a me problem, but most weapons and armour requiers currency and one or more specific enemy drops to buy. This resulted in me just carrying around a few of each enemy drop just in case I would need it to buy something which meant my inventory was always nearly full. The fact that some quests also need these drops (allowing you to instantly complete it if you carry it with you) didn't help put a stop to my hoarding behaviour. Annoying and frequent inventory managment while looting was the result, tough it's partially my own fault.
Väldigt kul och vacker värld!
