Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I don't know what it is, but this game just does not FEEL or control like the Homeworld that I know. I played Homeworld Remastered 1+2 before buying this game to get back into the story and controls, and I just could not get into this game. The camera feels janky and unpredictable. Very disappointing.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is a positive review with a couple of caveats...I got this on a pretty steep discount, and that's about the only time I would recommend it to someone; if you can get it cheap enough and you are a fan of this sort of game. It is middling. Not a terrible game, and not a great one either. I was a huge fan of the original Homeworld and Homeworld 2 (unfortunately never played Cataclysm) and even bought the remasters a while back. I found a signifcant portion of the campaign missions to be pretty tedious in comparison to 1 and 2, and the story is..well, it has a story. Anyway, it is essentially abandonware at this point and even the modding community does nothing with it, so individual mileage in terms of replayability may vary significantly. I've got 2 campaign missions to go, and I don't think I'll have any reason to replay it again any time soon. I haven't tried multiplayer yet but I'm assuming it is probably pretty dead.
nope
I like HW series for its story, delivered on a great strategy game. Following the diaspora of your lone Mothership made me feel desperate. Capturing enemy vessels to bolster my fleet as much as I can. I always felt like the underdog. Missions revolved around exploiting weaknesses and barely coming out on top. All narrated with cold, calculated, and impersonal characters that stay professional. Homeworld 3 is the polar opposite. The journey begins due to the BBEG showing up out of nowhere without any fanfare. So we are sent on a mission to stop the menace by our own. Through about maybe dozen unbalanced missions, I got tired of listening to constant bickering between the characters, with the BBEG presenting itself as nothing more than an immature child. So I did the unthinkable- I started skipping cutscenes and dialogues. Game itself is serviceable, but I don't see myself ever returning for more.
游戏性比前作真的差远了……硬撑着都玩不下去的那种。一个好IP陨落的痛失……
as a longtime fan of the homeworld series, I had a lot of fun playing this game thoout it comes with a few clear disadvantages. I only played campaign mode. the level of detail in the battleships and space enviroments is impressive. every momnets of the game was visual stunning. the gently layerd soundtrack was well crafted that it evoke a nostalgia for previous tile. However the poor AI, unconvincing storyline, and clunky controls break the immersion. Its been a long time I played the homewold 1 and 2, so mt memory is a bit of fuzzy, but I dont remeber them feeling this awkared. Moving and deplying battleships felt cumborsome and unituistive often making it difficult to position them as intended. As a result strategic use of terrain feature was nearly impossible for me. I would recommand this to old fans and those who enjoy SF. however wouldnt reccomand it to begginer.
I play HW1, HW2, HWC and quite honestly HW3 is by far the worst! The graphics are good and thats about it! The rest is just crap, ships die so fast and the camera angles...so many debris you spent 90% of the time adjusting the camera just to see what is going on. And guess what ? Your ships keeps getting stuck in all those debris! Even with a rebate of 50% this feels like i paid way too much for this game!
