Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

首发入的,现在回来一看,还是那么抽象. 你不行就把IP还给水雷. 虽然水雷现在也不会做游戏了,但我觉得应该能做的比这个好玩.
So far, I've only played the game's campaign and I'm currently on Mission 7. The game is clearly better than the player reviews here would lead you to believe. The gap between the professional reviews and the user reviews is particularly striking in this case. Many other longtime fans (I am myself one—I’ve played every installment since the 1990s) are probably disappointed that the narrative focus has shifted so dramatically—from a "bird's-eye view" centered on an entire civilization to a much more character-driven story. Personally, though, I think this change gives the story a fresh sense of momentum. I also found the cutscenes to be better than I had expected based on the negative reviews. The gameplay is solid as well. The missions are well designed and engaging, with some offering a satisfying challenge—although the difficulty varies quite a bit from one mission to the next. The graphics are good, and the soundtrack is enjoyable as well.
God everything gear box touches turns to crap
垃圾场游戏!不如家园2一根毛
Hoooly fck, what a cringfest xD. I were reading all that steam reviews and i was like, nah it cant be that bad right? Right?.... xD Animations like from some cheap porn game, story from ass, and that Imogen making faces all the time, like me when im sh@ting, well done devs, well done.
Terrible game... CGI is extremely low level, story is uninspired and half-arsed, gameplay is not the worst but doesn't redeem the horribly embarassing sequel to some of the best RTS games of all time. If this kills the franchise I don't care.
So, I remember seeing the trailers initially for this game and being super excited. I had initially been introduced to the series back in 2016 with the announcement of the prequel made by the same devs. I remember playing through this game in particular and at first holding out hope that it got better, which it unfortunately didn't. I remember hoping to get more content to explain what at the very least happened and if they actually made it back or not, unfortunately as we can all tell that story will most likely never be finished. What I honestly believe happened was a major change in the structure of the dev team, the people who made deserts of kharak and that had clearly loved 1 and 2 were not the same people to make this game, that is clear as day. It is honestly a tragic loss for the gaming community since 1 and 2 and the prequel were all amazing games. I do hope one day we'll get someone to pick the reigns up and give us a proper homeworld again.
