Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
this game is a major disappointment
How to throw away a franchise in 1 step. This is incredible, I already knew from all the reviews and even though I only payed 3€ for the key I still feel ripped off. While they should have never attempted to introduce a new control scheme, the Fleet AI feels like it got stupider, the Multiplayer is dead and dont get me started on what they call "Story". They had the opportunity to do something great but instead threw it all out the window

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Why....just....why
Bought it for 2 bucks on a certain "CDkeys" website. Glad I did. Im giving this a thumbs up simply because i love Homeworld. The game is most definitely worth a play, just not at the price they want you to pay. The cover system is kind of cool, but on one of the first few campaign missions it felt like my ships were "stuck" inside a tunnel - they weren't responding to my attack commands. I had to make them move out of the tunnel and then attack. I LOVE the turrets with the cover/terrain system. Even minelaying is more sensical now with it. I have not tried skirmish yet, which is abnormal for me as i usually dislike playing the campaigns of RTS games. There are far too many cutscenes and they are WAY too long, and frankly the story they are trying to tell is boring as heck. I couldnt tell you what the story line is about because ive just started skipping them... I think the devs thought they were Kojima or something. Any cutscenes that occur while in mission are not skipable, which I could (maybe) forgive if the game PAUSED while doing the cutscene, BUT IT DOESNT! i watched my fighters fly off toward enemies, unable to be saved because the game wanted to tell me i had to blow some stuff up and that i had no ability to reinforce said fighters if they died. Save every game after each missions "in-brief" otherwise you will be re-watching them a lot... As far as bugs, im actually writing this after having to force quit the game at the END OF A MISSION because a cutscene stopped the game but didnt want to play. the game didnt freeze, it was just stuck in limbo as if i was about to watch a cutscene. So I will probably have to replay that whole mission from my mid-way (manual) save point (autosave hates you, do not trust it). However, this is the first bug that i have encountered aside from slightly janky cover movement i mentioned earlier. The game looks beautiful, no complaints there. They definitely wanted to show that off with the intro mission where you launch from the planet surface. I do not have the most up to date PC but by no means is it a slouch, but the game has benchmarked me on medium settings, so it might be a bit unoptomized. I dont know how far into the campaign i am yet, maybe about 6 missions in, so i dont know what units they will present to me still, the most recent unlock has been the destroyer and torpedo frig. I am hoping there are at least 3 or 4 more unique additions but I'm not holding my breath. If you're like me and you have not purchased because of the price-to-review ratio, go find it at STEEP discounts and get it (more than the 50% off currently being offered at the time of writing).
Hm. Grafik und Style erinnern stark an HW1+2 Remastered, also völlig in Ordnung.
Sorry to say this is as bad as you expect. A hollow travesty of a game that tries to walk around in the clothes of a far better title. Literally no redeeming features other than looking nice if you line up the camera just right. Gameplay stripped away, features missing and a storyline that is so offensively bad it had to be an intentional slap in the face to genuine fans. I can see no reason that rts players should pick this one up and long term fans of the series like myself are better off pretending this simply doesn't exist. Save your money and pick up Tempest Rising Instead. One of the few times I have been bitterly disappointed in a game. So long Homeworld....we hardly knew you.
Go buy Homeworld Remastered, much better use of your money and time, this one is bad
To jedna z najgorzej napisanych fabularnie gier jaką miałem nieprzyjemność grać, ewidentnie osoby tworzące historie mają poważne problemy emocjonalne bądź poznawcze świata w którym żyjemy, nie potrafią składnie złożyć całej historii w całość.
game has been left untouched since last year, no updates and plagued with bugs i enjoyed it for a day and now its just impossible to play and enjoy. campaign only has like 6-7 missions and thats it. Will never spend a penny or waste time installing anything blackbird touches they're 100% the cause of this and gearbox should never have let them destroy this shame on both companies official world base boycot going in affect just watch
