A short-run experience for anyone looking for a horror game. The game can basically be separated into two parts. The first half is quite enjoyable, and it manages to scare you easily. It has an eerie vibe, and you're always tense because you never really know what is going to happen next. Although it uses cheap jumpscares, they are placed around the game quite well, so they don't feel completely random or annoying. The atmosphere is probably the strongest part of the game, and for a while, it actually manages to keep you interested in what's happening. However, the second half is where the game starts losing its charm. It becomes repetitive and predictable, slowly losing most of its scary elements. After a certain point, you can easily predict when a jumpscare is going to happen, which kind of ruins the tension the first half managed to build. The same ideas and scares start repeating themselves, and instead of feeling nervous about what might happen next, you just wait for the obvious jumpscare. The story doesn't really help either. It's basically a classic '90s American horror story: Something is off about the town—or in this case, the gas station—people start acting weird, things get more and more suspicious, and eventually aliens and a UFO get involved. The main character gets captured but manages to escape at the last moment. Then they wake up. And honestly, that was probably the moment where I completely lost interest in the story. The whole thing is so predictable that it makes you question what the game was even trying to do. It feels like you've seen this type of story many times before, and the game doesn't really add anything interesting enough to make it stand out. Overall, it was a short experience. From time to time scary, from time to time boring. The first half was definitely better than the second, mostly because of its atmosphere and tension. I would recommend it to those who just want to kill some free time and play a quick horror game without expecting too much. Otherwise, I wouldn't really recommend it. 5/10

GEILES SPIEL GEILE ATMOSPEHERE COOL :)
I had a lot of fun with this game. It was paced and written very well and the scares were extremely well done. The atmosphere was tense and the premise was great. I am highly looking forward to playing the other entries when they release! I finished the game in just over an hour but theres definitely the possibility of multiple playthroughs with the different choices you can make.
