About

Enter the explosive conflict of the Vietnam War and fight your way through some of the fiercest clashes in modern history. Join the battle raging across an extreme landscape of vast mountain gorges and thick jungle, where the North Vietnamese Armies clash with the military strength of the US Armed Forces. Build tunnels, fly helicopters, drive patrol boats, use historically accurate weapons and work with your team to achieve victory.

Take the battle to the enemy across 6 large-scale maps inspired by real world locations. Play as either the North Vietnamese Army or US Armed Forces and choose from one of 17 specialised roles within a 50-strong team made up of multiple squads. Join or lead infantry, recon, armour, mortar squads and helicopter units, using communication and teamwork with your fellow players to identify objectives and ruthlessly exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. Emergent gameplay features bring intensity and realism to the conflict, as players tackle each battle with authentic weapons, orders and tactics. Follow the chain of command and work together as a team to meet your objectives and achieve victory.

In the heat and fury of the Vietnam War, the battle is more dynamic than ever. New US aerial units feature fully operational helicopters for fire support and supply drops. NVA forces can build extensive tunnel networks to gain the upper hand with surprise attacks. Both sides can hunt the enemy through Vietnam’s complex river network with heavily armed patrol boats built and launched to seek and destroy. Enhanced player movement, including swimming, climbing and fast crawling, and interactions such as dragging co-combatants away from active fire to give them a chance to heal and re-engage, all adds to the immersive battle experience.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam features multiple distinct gameplay modes pitting players against each other in epic 50 vs 50 multiplayer battles. Warfare mode is a 50 vs 50 tug-of-war style confrontation where two teams fight for control over 5 sectors. Offensive breaks down the opposing forces into an attacking side and a defending side. Alternating new game modes mix up the gameplay parameters to maximise the battlefield experience. This is as immersive as warfare gets!

Great squad-based gameplay. Diverse roles with unique responsibilities and abilities on the battlefield.
I don't think people bashing on launch play enough video games on release. It was in my opinion really well done. Now with the patches, whatever was a little rough is now fixed a week after release. My biggest problem were permanent icons from flares and recon planes, but that is now fixed too. Jungle is absolutely stunning, gameplay is great and game overall really fun. Ofc I'd like to see M14 making it into the game, or quicker yaw on heli, but will see what the future holds.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's a solid game. its hell let loose, but vietnam. No lies. Could probably do with more differentiation between the playstyle of the factions, ngl. But it's also a PvP milsim and you need a certain level of symmetry for it to feel fair. otherwise the average person would just ragequit. its hard enough for the average player getting used to being one-shotted from nowhere on repeat and not knowing where its coming from. Having asymmetry could make it too brutal. IDK. especially if it were actually simulating the actual vietnam war, where the NVA got smoked in every major engagement. if it were done right it could be fine, i'm sure. but that would be difficult. Anyways, the game is great if you love hell let loose. if you hate hell let loose, this game wont change your mind. the biggest issue ive seen is performance. even with good specs tons of people are getting bad performance, with the most common thing i've experienced being random freezing that lasts barely 1 second or less, but still interrupts the gameplay. nothing game breaking but still not great. Especially since the game doesn't look any better than the first game, and the first game runs smooth as butter. obviously the foliage of the jungle will effect performance but it shouldn't be to the degree that so many people are experiencing. there's still bugs (i've only experienced audio bugs), but i would imagine these will be patched up soon. all in all it's a great HLL game. if you will like this game, you'll like the first one and vice-versa.
I'm sure there's plenty to cry about about but it's not anywhere near worthy of the hate it's getting. as a fairly casual gamer I'm having a great time. If you're looking for the best game ever made then skip it and Godspeed to you. probably just a few updates away from mostly positive reviews. All of you VC's doing "problematic" accents and Americans yelling the big G and Z words, keep doing God's work. You are holding the line against the big F's trying to spoil the fun.
Hi
It's funny, the people that complain this game sucks are the same people who don't take the time to learn the systems. The people complaining about lack of content are the same people who who play games like calll of duty. The people complaining its not as good as the first one .... yeah that game was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at release as well. You literally are just having a sook because you suck at the game and can't function when the battleground isn't wide open. Get better scrub.
Rad!
