Hector: Badge of Carnage - Full Series

This game is gross. This game is amazing.

The humour is crude and obscene, but it is not too graphic, and the characters do not swear explicitly. No character experiences a "personality arc" as the narrative progresses, but that is also fine. There are no manual saves here, and the controls are based around the left mouse button only which is perhaps due to it being also available on mobile platforms. Dialogue is skipped the same way every other action is performed - with the same left mouse button, and that is a bit annoying. There appears to be no way to quickly transition between "rooms" until the protagonist is given a map, so fast travelling is not available from the beginning of every episode. I ran into a bug in the third episode which prevented a certain event from happening until a certain trigger - it seems the protagonist needed to present an incomplete puzzle solution first to one other character. That solved the issue, but such a requirement was not obvious to me. Fortunately, vague hints are available within the game to nudge the player in the right direction, as well as a complete list of solutions, but I was reluctant to use it - instead I wasted some time thinking I simply overlooked something. The overall game length across all three episodes amounts to around 10 hours.
