Hearing Voices

Hearing Voices was a short game, but I feel it executed on its premise very well. The "twist" became evident about halfway through, but it still went in an interesting direction with it. The game's vibe is very creepy and atmospheric, with the audio tapes being incredibly well done. Even though I knew nothing big was going to happen, I was still put on edge for most of the game. The only problems are a couple of very minor things. Each tape is called Tape 1 on the results screen. The first word on the sixth tape sounded nothing like the word it supposedly was, which I think is actually an incorrect audio clip being used, because that tape uses a different voice, but that word alone was in the typical deep male voice. I also didn't particularly like the jumpscare when you fail repeatedly. I never got it originally, I had to restart the game and fail on purpose for the achievement, but I think there could've been better ways of discouraging the player from spamming the clue button or guessing the words randomly. It just doesn't really fit in with the rest of the game, in my opinion.
