In my personal opinion, this is a good remake of Combat Evolved. It's fun and feels like a Halo game. I do recommend playing this one if you have never played halo before. Now i do have some gripes about it but that's mainly just from the bonus missions. And the price should be lower than what it is priced at right now. Like i said, this is my opinion. You don't have to agree with me
Team literally had a perfect blueprint and couldn't help but impose there own broken anti masculine slop into it.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I liked a lot of the new environments, particularly the snow levels. The cutscenes are mostly bad, Cortana is awful, and the new missions are an abomination to the franchise.
Shooting at the Jackal's hand through the shield doesn't work at all, a CORE HALO MECHANIC, making Legendary a broken, unfun experience. Orange shield Jackals are a death sentence, and the game throws a lot of them at you. I can deal with the litany of other bugs, especially since the game looks nice, and is easy to remove the film grain effect from UE, but the Jackals are frustrating and make achievement hunting THE WORST. Don't recommend until this is fixed. I don't understand how this was launched in this state. Anyone doing any playtesting should have clearly recognized this as being broken, given it is THE WAY YOU KILL THAT ENEMEY.
Runs like complete ♥♥♥♥ and I have a RTX 5070. Could only muster up about 50 fps with everything on low and still had input lag
Looks good, plays well, but not worth the full price tag. Some bugs and glitches. Cortana's face looks weird. Cinematics look stiff and strange when people like Johnson are speaking. Some delivery off voice lines are off. The new missions are lame, would never want to play those again. No pvp multiplayer like CE, no Blood Gulch, no Sidewinder, no Battle Creek. No firefight. Not much re-playability. Could've been a revolutionary remake with massive global success that would've had many people playing for years to come. Should've been a layup with a legendary game like Halo CE being brought into the modern age. Overall, disappointing.
Its the same halo game we have played before with no real changes that set it apart from the original halo except the bonus missions. They aren't that good because of a poorly written character. I wish they had change some of the levels and added more to the game since its a remake of a game that already got a remaster. Halo: CE remaster 2 Good graphics is all I can really say about this game
This game gets its very well-deserved negative review. I am trying so hard to enjoy it, but I am actively fighting against this game every 5 minutes. It feels so bad to play. Frozen cutscenes, settings not saving, teleporting enemies, and just overall bad game feel. It makes sense though, why should devs put in the extra effort if they are just going to lose their job regardless of the games success.
Halo 4 was slop, Halo 5 was slop, Halo Infinite was slop. Halo Campaign Evolved? Slop. How unexpected. This studio needs to retire. There is genuinely no excuses. Bungie made halo with less money and technology and less time and manage to overdeliver every single game. 343, halo studios, same poop different smell. They somehow took bungie's blueprint and desacrated it with their filthy footsteps.
Wasn't able to play it past the intro, kept crashing at the first checkpoint and tried every fix I could find. Also the option to disable llm frame generation was weirdly hidden.
