Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox.
As Michael, players wear the mask, become the Boogeyman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession. Utilizing a nightmarish array of abilities, Michael leverages shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst. This doesn’t mean Haddonfield is going down without a fight. Frightened townsfolk will call the local authorities and even fight back when threatened, incentivizing Michael to avoid detection. And for the first time ever, fans of the transformative original film will have the option to witness the haunting narrative events surrounding "The Night He Came Home" through the eyes of Michael Myers in a standalone singleplayer story mode.
As a Hero of Haddonfield, it’s your job to alert the residents of Haddonfield to the impending evil and help them escape before falling victim to Michael’s unyielding pursuit. In dynamic and ever-changing 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer matches, hero players must arm themselves with everyday household items, weapons, and knowledge to combat an unpredictable and unkillable enemy. Convincing townsfolk and contacting the police will lead to increasingly powerful and thorough neighborhood patrols. To even the odds, you can command and equip NPCs with weapons to outsmart or even overpower The Shape, providing precious windows for escape.
This immersive horror sandbox is powered by Unreal Engine 5 to deliver engaging and dynamic gameplay systems, life-like NPCs, hauntingly realistic visuals, cinema-quality lighting, and endless scares for you and your friends. Asymmetrical horror comes home in Halloween.

The game is hella fun, but the performance has just degraded each update to where now even the single player is unplayable. it was actually pretty decent performance during early access, but something has changed. I've updated graphics drivers and meet the system reqs. Hoping the devs keep at the optimization, but right now its unplayable for me.
At this point, I cannot recommend Halloween the game. It has a lot of the weirdness and jank of Illfonic and Guns other games, but none of the charm. The fundamental issue with Halloween is its core design, static spawns of special targets, the weird long wait of minigames before respawning as a cop/loomis, and knowledgible Michaels can win in just a few minutes. I would also like to see a tutorial practice mode for civilian players. Also, not to mention how poorly optimized this game is (PC specs below) I can play cyberpunk 2077 on psycho settings with FG/upscale with quadruple the frames of this game, so bizzare.

This game is really fun!! I am a huge fan of TCM and I love playing these types of games!! I really don't want to give this game a thumbs down but it does seem like they released an alpha version of the game. It's so many bugs that i thought was going to be fixed on launch day that weren't...like the fact that I'm not gaining any type of progression in the story quest even though i beat them multiple times!! The npcs also seem to get stuck a lot and not move when you tell them too. Despite that the game is really fun to me especially with friends and vc!! I do hope that the devs lock in and not become lazy with this game because TCM had so much potential if they hadn't given up on it!!
people griefing you is very annoying in this game, people can just push you out of the game when you open an exit. has happened 3 times to me already, needs patched immediately. they can also interupt your phone calls by pushing you aswell.
Good game but please optimise the game and make Michael Myers stronger please I want to play as the Michael Myers like from Halloween kills where I can kill everyone not a looser Myers
Pretty fun game so far, don't get all the hate
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ absolute ♥♥♥♥, too many sweatty losers that dont shower or touch grass, no mmr and if you play a the killer you basically lose, could have been better but fuh nah
me personally. ive enjoyed this game and i want more ppl to join in. the people ive met were surprisingly nice and fun. not to mention its not hard to play michael at all (at least for me its fairly easily as ive played tsm and f13). however there are a bunch of bugs and glitches ive ran into like i was in a far and someone ran close so i grabbed them and when i did it glitched me inside the car. those types of bugs and glitches i hope gets fixed because they have costed me some games. other than that i think its worth to buy.
This game is practically unplayable, lot of bugs, and when I say a lot, IT MEANS A LOT, totally unbalanced
