Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox.
As Michael, players wear the mask, become the Boogeyman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession. Utilizing a nightmarish array of abilities, Michael leverages shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst. This doesn’t mean Haddonfield is going down without a fight. Frightened townsfolk will call the local authorities and even fight back when threatened, incentivizing Michael to avoid detection. And for the first time ever, fans of the transformative original film will have the option to witness the haunting narrative events surrounding "The Night He Came Home" through the eyes of Michael Myers in a standalone singleplayer story mode.

In dynamic and ever-changing 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer matches, hero players must arm themselves with everyday household items, weapons, and knowledge to combat an unpredictable and unkillable enemy. Convincing townsfolk and contacting the police will lead to increasingly powerful and thorough neighborhood patrols. Amazing game. I haven't done much on multiplayer yet as I have been doing the story and running some private match stuff. Plenty to do from completing challenges, gathering collectibles, learning gameplay and all the different ways of disposing of someone, very creative ways. Still some glitches but the dev team seems to be on it with hotfixes and updates. Overall, very fun and exciting.
The game is ok right now, but I do believe that with the right changes it can be way better

Best I can describe it is the game is very fun, but not good. It's not really optimised(especially the single player), lot of jank, and both sides feel terrible to play until you understand them. And even then, everything is very slow so might not be for you. The game also doesn't play like any other asym, which in combination with a lack of tutorials really hurts new players. But in the end the game has potential(as much as an ilfonic/gun game can, don't expect the game to survive more than a year) and it's entertaining enough that I feel like Im getting my money's worth
at the moment, i would sadly recommend it. Game is Laggy, constant Frame Drops. Playing Micheal you feel very weak, survivors just down you without effort, when they stack you cant kill a single one because they are faster, infinite stamina, stun locks, they can shove you every time you manage to finally grab a survivor and meele damage does merely damage at all. i play rounds following 2 survivors all match, i cant get them they just outround me on the street together. you need way to long to do a kill because youre forced to press 4 random numbers quickly while being stressed because if you miss you need to try again. also they can just sit on a bike all game making it impossible to get them. basically dont play micheal, youre getting bullied all game. and if thats not the case, they escape with npcs within 2 minutes without effort, if you know the escape you just speed run it. there is no option to play against bots aswell. i would've loved private match with friends to play against micheal bot and or fill up empty spots with bots (survivor) so in short: - no time to stalk - forced to speedrun kills with micheal - too many weapons for survivor - micheal way too slow and unscary - multiple infinites for survivors - light everywhere (cant spawn) - no time to plan your game - no time to destroy electric boxes - even with ability you cant catch up because youre spawn is almost always blocked - cant catch up to survivor because they can outrun you on street - abilities have minutes cooldown - survivor can dance on you (wtf?) - survivors can hear killer voice and vice versa making it toxic - infinite flash options to stun micheal - laggy gameplay - wack animations - abilities are weak Sadly... Don't buy
Aside from a few bugs, it's fun and gives good entertainment.
Oh man… this game might be a flop. I’m about 10 matches in and Michael is Undefeated. Despite 2-3 survivors+ every match. I’ve played a couple matches where I didn’t even SEE Michael. The match ended and I was just informed that he escaped. I ran in the dark and called the cops, while he murdered the bots. There hasn’t been much of that Halloween Michael Myers running for my life feeling either. Michael mostly just warps onto you, kills you, and moves on with his evening. I haven’t really had those desperate chases where you’re sprinting through the house, diving through windows, and barely getting away. I spent almost an ENTIRE MATCH looking for a car so I could repair it. The game was moving so slowly that I had enough time to pull up YouTube and watch a tutorial on how to repair the car… while I was still playing. You can probably do your laundry during the match and be perfectly fine. The game isn’t a total loss. There’s definitely some great ideas, and I’m hoping it gets better eventually. But from what I can tell so far? Friday the 13th is still sitting comfortably on the horror multiplayer throne.
