Become the champion of the Arena by besting your opponents in various brawls and tournaments. Prepare for an unparalleled combat experience where your every move matters. All animations and maneuvers are meticulously designed with a strong foundation in realism.
Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

very cool and oddly satisfying sword fighting mechanics, recommend a mod menu for maximum enjoyment as player health is very low.
This game has ruined melee combat in every other game for me. Nothing else compares to having full control over your weapon and physics-based collision with weapons/armour/flesh. The game is still rough around the edges, but even in its current early access state I think it's worth the price of admission.
Extremely fun. So many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying details (physics, the Abyss, etc.), though. Buy it, especially on sale!
Still unfinished and lots of bugs, the demo from years ago was miles better. Just play the free demo and don't play at all, doubt they will fix this game since it seems to have been abandoned by the developers.
SO i was dreaming then woke up as a slave like wtf man then got ranked and brutally beating people up because i like it then stabbing them and watching them bleed out if you a sick twisted osu! player and need to let the anger out because you dident beat yomi yori its good
There is no scaling or fairness. you can be full geared and still get one shot from out of range. the abyss is unplayable you get grabbed they you cant play any more, the fact that zombies have armor is crazy in your 1st run. I think sharp weapons are broken and should be much rarer. 2 handed weapon are just unusable if the enemy has a sharp weapon. the help you hire is a waste of money. hire a dude fully geared and watch him get one shot on the 1st run, this ♥♥♥♥ isn't balanced. I get its in early access but this need some help being balanced. I am playing a progression game mode that I don't feel like i am progressing. I get gear and weapons that seem good only to be only shot by basic gear. the way this game is now doesn't makes me want to come back am play more. game allows you to join a match without warning you to heal so when you load in just just die. like you any of these dev play their own game?
