Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

говно, болевой шок был лишним, а вот как боёвка изменилась за последнее время это моё почтение
THE DEVS HAVE RETURNED!!! And not only that, the game has been improved quite a lot since release. Still some performance issues (DLSS performance mode makes it run pretty fine) Exellent combat and gore. One of the only games I can think of where you can accidentally do the coolest ♥♥♥♥ ever.
This game is great! I really enjoy it, but the thing is it crashes a lot of times and the shadows are too dark. fix it pls.
yes
first ten minutes are fun, then you wanna actually summon death itself upon the world. but then you learn the mechanics like insuring your gear, upgrading gear, stealing trinkets around the maps and in the abyss. you finally get some progress after being hard stuck as a commoner and skyrocket through the ranks up to the second to last rank and get stuck trying to perfect your armour before facing the final boss of the game. but then the crashes come and you start losing insured gear and have to pay insurmountable amounts of money to re-insure them by fighting and selling just for the same crash to occur and you have to do it all again. In summary, the game is brilliant and perfectly balanced so you losing is almost always a skill issue. but the game is far from perfect as the crashes stunt progression. other modes are okay ig but thats not the main course. would recommend with the only caveat being the crashes and we'll have to wait for the devs to fix whatever causes crashes. but then again, this game is far from being complete as a beta so be patient and dont whine when an enemy kills you unless its genuinely bs like you get sent flying or lose your head after stumbling over some sheers or mud.
This is my #3 game of all time
