A fun and faithful addition to Half-Life that builds on the original game while still incorporating some of the refinements introduced in Opposing Force. A particular treat if you just want more of the basegame's combat in a nice little tasting palatte, akin to On a Rail or Forget about Freeman spun off into their own thing. The opening levels do feel a little dumbed down for Dreamcast but from the HECU's introduction onwards its really fun. Power Struggle might genuinely be in my top five HL1 chapters overall. Having the levels loop back in on themselves was a really fun twist on the established level design as well, though it did come off a little janky in places and in general it has a lot of Opposing Force's sense of lazyness compared to Valve levels. It is also a little too generous with armor and the lack of both tripmines and exotic weapons was quite disappointing.
its more half life
fun yet less challenging imo than HL1
É HALF LIFE, é bom
