Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
instructions are vague when going through the tutorial, leaving you to use videos or guides if you aren't familiar with hacking tools or command-line. Not fun or intuitive, feels like a job.
Pretty accurate to "hacking" of the 20teens time. Wasn't a fan of the ai dialogue. I went through about 10 attack scenarios and there really isn't much room for completing missions outside of how it exactly wants you to do it. IE; sql database enumeration into a specific app. Its fun looking at a simulated hacking environment but I prefer HTB.

非常适合我这种高智力人群👍
o jogo esta sensacional, estou percebendo que tem muitos textos que não estão traduzidos pra portugues, então por gentileza, peço que der uma olhada nessas traduções pra portugues.
slop, doesn't have the plot at all, people contact you out of nowhere expecting you to help them (why should i care?), hackhub doesn't make sense, phishing doesn't make sense, all voices are ai, overall slop garbage game. go play hacknet
The story is poorly designed. The journalist mission has very few checkpoints. Once you start it, you cannot stop playing without risking your save becoming dead. I reported this issue on Discord a long time ago. They have been ghosting me and it is still not fixed.
Hackhub requires an active internet connection to play
I think there's a good game here but I might refund. Calling this the "Ultimate Hacking Simulator" is a massive stretch. As others have said it's not actually perfectly accurate although it does a good job at being close enough. The issue is that the game is basically just set missions that you have to follow strictly. There's no dynamic elements to it. You're hacking to change someone's grades, I wonder what'll happen if I change someone els- you can't, you change their grade and immediately the mission is done. I'm hacking into someone's bank, what if I transfer their money to mi- you can't it'll just throw an error. There is a tonne of elements here that make it feel like a sandbox but it just refuses to let you sandbox or give you any chance to actually sandbox. People that clearly should have lives on social media don't you're just given information that the game wants to give you. There's also parts that are so blatantly incorrect it's confusing that it's even in the game. Like sending Phishing emails...FROM YOUR ACTUAL EMAIL. Or phoning people FROM YOUR ACTUAL PHONE. Logging into someone elses Twitter WITH NO VPN. Like all things that would get you arrested immediately on their own but they require to be done within a few minutes. It seems the game just stopped the sim part at the commands and forgot about the rest. The multiplayer sounds like more of a sim but there's basically no information about it, I tried it but it just throws you in with a bunch of stuff at the same starting point as Singleplayer but with no explanation. It genuinely is mindblowing that Uplink that's decades old is still somehow the most immersive hacking game you can get with missions that give you freedom and the ability to just create havoc in the world and watch the news unfold as you rob accounts or get random people arrested. Some kind of lite sim here would be incredible but instead you're given websites to hack that don't exist in the game world. My final issue with the game is that it uses it's own launcher that appears to be incompatible with Steam overlay as you cannot take screenshots in game and this makes the game ONLINE ONLY. So if their servers go down or you can't launch Steam the game will be bricked even for the singleplayer which is ridiculous.
$8 for this game is roughly $7.50 too expensive. The bugs are beyond belief. Maybe these devs will show some promise and fix it. I wouldn't hold my breath though.
