Hack ‘n’ Slash is a puzzle action game about hacking -- reprogram object properties, hijack global variables, hack creature behavior, and even rewrite the game’s code. The only way to win is not to play...by the rules!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm going to leave this here for normals (like myself) who stumble upon this game. Me leaving this game a negative rating is practically irrelevant...yeah... Unless you're here because you specifically searched this game knowing exactly what it is...DON"T BOTHER... This game seems to have been made as a passion project by the developer for a fanbase so niche that no one else should bother even contemplating giving this a shot. This is a puzzle game based around nonlinear thinking based on altering the rules of the game through the understanding NOT game logic...but code exploit based logic. (that's probably all wrong). in other words there's NO typical platforming (well kind of) , hack and slashing, or solving puzzles through common game logic...you will simply wander a somewhat ugly generic looking world haphazardly being thrown into puzzles that are based on NOT being solvable through traditional game logic...but instead on it's subversion...you are given NO tutorial on anything because you are meant to "figure it out yourself" by knowing how the INNER workings of game code logic work and exploiting it.... If you're a dum dum like myself but in denial, you can probably play through the game using a guide to cheat...err...hint you through all of its over your head stuff and pretend you've learned something at the end...have fun...

Truly a one of a kind experience, it is one of the few games to make me feel a certain way (I don't know how to put said feeling into words, sorry) that only my very favorite games do. Best played with no gameplay spoilers, though the game may quickly become hard to understand for anybody who does not have a background in coding or at least an interest in learning how internal game systems work. For anybody who is interested in this game but is the type that will have absolutely no clue what is going on with all the code stuff, I still recommend it, but might be best to follow a walkthrough or watching a playthrough of it to keep you from giving up on it. (The following does not contain major spoilers, just information that may diminish the surprise factor of the game.)
Every time the game gave me more power, I slowly became more and more terrified about it. (In a good way) So many times I thought "wait, will the game really let me do that?" And the answer was yes, and then I immediately was concerned about the possibilities and fearful of how much I can utterly destroy this world. Genuinely I started to feel like using the powers given to me was possibly immoral. I so easily could have become the villain in all this.
6/10 This game is worth to check out due to some ideas it has and its generally positive atmosphere, but it also isn't the most enjoyable game in the world. However, you get to figure out some base level programming tasks (very few tho) and vibe a funky, Ocarina of Time inspired storyline.
