A great game with a lot of potential! Worth every penny!

I don't like punching down on what feels like the developer's first game, but I just don't feel like this game was ready for a full release. - The game has, as far as I can tell, only one song that plays through the entire duration on loop, and considering that a run can easily last 45 minutes, it gets grating. The song itself is fine, there should probably be more than one. - The game runs out of tricks long before it runs out of levels: There are 4 enemy types that you have to deal with, and 3 of them kind of do the same thing with different amounts of health. - The saloon is either broken or unfinished, I couldn't find anything inside to interact with despite the highlighted journal and bounty board. - There is a wagon customization system advertised in the trailer that I couldn't find anywhere, so either it was cut or I simply didn't look in the right place. - As far as I could find, there is no 'end state': you keep going until you lose, but the game just isn't challenging enough to force that end on you. Eventually I just quit after about 30 levels, as the upgrade system seemed to run out of ideas. - There's a fistful of bugs, from the purely cosmetic "Dynamite bandits killed by explosions will just run through the train" to the more annoying "buying multiple weapons breaks the keybinds for weapon swapping, forcing you to select weapons via the scroll wheel" or "the ammo restock vendor in the back of the train is fiddly about when he will offer restocks". I personally don't regret dropping $5 on this game, but I personally can't recommend it to anyone else in its current state.
