Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0.67/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game makes me sad. It feels soulless. There's so many great things here. The music, the graphics, and the creature designs are all really charming. The dialogue is pretty cute. The world crafting is an interesting idea. The management aspect, while barebones, is okay. Ultimately the game is shallow and fails to flesh out its own mechanics. First of all, I have to mention the crashes. The game has a tendency to lock up when turning in quests, forcing you to quit to desktop. This is a game with a LOT of quests-- think fish x times, sleep x times, talk to x. The crashes are practically inevitable, and there's been no updates in ~4 years. Luckily, you can save at any time, but it still feels very frustrating to have to do so. Annoyingly, many of the game's features seem pointless. Fishing? Bug catching? As far as I can tell, fish and bugs don't really do anything. They're never used in crafting. They're just meant to be sold. They're not even required for any achievements. Don't quote me, but I think you could probably beat the whole game without ever having caught a bug or a fish. There's a similar uselessness for the various gems, ore, and fossils that drop from rocks. Nothing is more disappointing than getting a clump of iron ore... only to realize that literally nothing can be done with it. Why would a game include ore and not have any ability to craft with it? Why would it have fossils and no museum? It's baffling. The management part of the game was fairly simple. You plunk down buildings then assign people to work in them. For the life of me, I could not tell what most of the buildings did. A few are functional as stores, like the flower shop that weirdly sells keys instead of flowers. Others like the library and the bakery seem entirely non-functional. There's so many adorable creatures to adopt in this game. And yet, despite the existence of a ranch, the animals serve exactly zero real function. They're all just cosmetic. That big neon cow will never give you any milk. Similarly, the community gardens yields no actual resources despite displaying an array of plants. The core gameplay loop involves exploring randomly generated islands. It reminded me a little of dropping onto random planets in Starbound. Or maybe growing my own dungeons in Rune Factory 4. Unfortunately, the mechanic feels stale very quickly. The player is given no agency in how these islands develop or even how they choose to interact with them. You're required to plant seeds at the seed spots, to clear the designated rubble, to pull the requisite weeds. Each island has a daily requirement of chores before it can grow. Growing allows it to produce more resources-- many of which, as I've stated, are entirely useless. I'm a big advocate of stop-adding-useless-animations-in-farm-sims. Seriously, I am going to be chopping down hundreds of trees. Why does each chop have to have me twirl in place? Why does my character have to spin their hammer before hitting a rock? Sure, it looks cute. But it feels very sluggish, especially since the animations are attached to such frequently used actions. Another useless animation is the one attached to the fast travel screen. I call it a fast travel screen instead of a map because it only gives the vaguest impression of where the player is located. Each time you call it up, you have to watch your bird/deer friend fly up to the sky. Again, it's super cute. But I'll be going to this screen a thousand times. I don't need to watch this over and over. Same with the little preview the game shows every time you visit one of your islands. Sure, it's only a few seconds, but I have to watch it so many times. And it's unskippable. I'll give the game some credit. The story seems unique. Sadly, most of it is told in lore dumps. Maybe it's just my ever-shortening attention span, but I can't really process information when it's given to me in one, gigantic dialogue tree. Ironically, for a game called grow, the farming mechanic is practically non-existent. There's a few rows of tilled soil outside of your house which, as far as I can tell, just spawn one or two random flowers sometimes. You plant seeds on your islands, but they're from an infinite and generic bag of seeds. Apart from the seeds you use to generate randomized islands, you're given no choice as to what or where you plant things. Don't expect this to be a farm sim like I did. This game is a major disappointment. So many promising-looking components are underutilized. While it is cozy, it crosses the line into boring for me. It's repetitive and tedious. It feels like a bad cleaning simulator rather than a farm sim. Feel free to give it a try if I haven't discouraged you, but please wait for a sale. And don't forget to save frequently.

I really wanted to like this game, the atmosphere, the music, the ideas are all great. The execution however could be better. After only a few hours in, the game gets repetitive. Some things took me a while to figure out. Like how to get back to my alchemist hut for the first time when on an island. (apparently my hut is a town) I couldn't click it on the map but had to press the button for town. It is also not intuitive to get to the island from the map, it only states that you have to press up, not which key. Every time you visit the island you get an unskippable cutscene, which is fine for the first time, but annoying if you accidentally press somewhere on the map and visit the island by accident. The game is also prone to crashing. As it is i can't reccomend the game unfortunately. I hope the developers fix the ongoing issues.
Grow is pretty meh. I played Yonder: Cloud Catcher Chronicles first and enjoyed it, so I kinda expected similar but better, but Grow is honestly less cute, less fun, less interesting, has worse controls, more repetitive gameplay, etc. It's just boring, tbh. After you unlock the town and visitors, it's just more of the same. Finish your first world? Now do another. Finish your first part of the town? Now do another. Just not for me. Also, as soon as I finished the first world I started getting occasional soft-locks when the game would just hang on the rewards screen after I accepted a reward, so then I felt like I had to be super vigilant about saving before accepting anything, and ofc the game doesn't have a quicksave/quickload function. Esc, save, pick a slot, esc/close game, relaunch game, load save is not a good system for something you have to save a lot in. Or anything at all, really.
Thoroughly enjoyed this when I played in '21 got about 30 hours to the end. I had fun trying different world seeds to make different words and managing settlements. Back to playing a new game in '26 out of nostalgia. It should be noted, five years on there are still some bugs. Occasionally the game will crash when changing worlds. Save often. There are also worlds that can spawn with parts of them visibly obstructed. You can walk through these obstructions but it can make seeing what you need to do to complete a particular world difficult
I love cozy games, I thought this looked interesting. I played for a couple of hours but got incredibly bored very quickly. This game feels more suited to young kids, like 6-12 age. I don't think I will be going back to it any time soon.
This game has elements similar to Harvest Moon, Dark Cloud and early Zelda. When I first started it I thought "oh ok this is simple" the sort of game you can chill with and not have to use too much brain for. However I soon found the management aspect to be a bit more challenging than expected. Before I knew it I had been playing for four hours and didn't want to stop. So far the puzzles have been reasonably easy to sort out (though some were a little more difficult in their execution than others) and the befriending of the world's inhabitants is not too annoying. As far as I can tell the main difficulty will be from the build up of tasks you need manage. It is not the sort of game that gets you excited (like BG3 did) but it is definitely the sort that makes you want to play it over and over. In fact I think I will go and play it again now.
It's okay. The world is pretty, but the game itself is a bit flat imo. It was worth the couple bucks I bought it for
A very relaxing game that looks beautiful and does a few unique things for the cozy genre. There aren't too many cozy village management sims so this does offer some refreshing gameplay in that regard. It is pretty simplistic, so its not going to appeal to those interested in more realistic sims. Its mainly about starting a day by going to your villages and checking the stats of everyone to decide if theyll be a good fit for your town. Each town can look different as it offers lots of customization options You can even customize how every villager looks, as youll get outfits and glasses and even eye customization options through drops. In the first 11 hours its been fun trying to only look for the best citizens for the jobs that town has as it does seem that an efficient town will give you more myora, the games money system. The games story and your duties as a world creator are the weakest parts of the game for me. I didn't care about the story and while the game does encourage exploration, youll hit some invisible walls that never feel good. The duties of the world creator just isn't fun, as its mainly about going to the lands every day and planting seeds and watering them, but its never that simple. Sometimes you have to pull a weed first or break up rubble or scythe some grass, then you can plant and water. Thankfully it doesn't really take up too much time. The whole process of creating the world seed is fun the first time, but does get a bit repetitive as you try to figure out what bugs or fruits or seeds will give you the resources that your missing to build a ranch in your town. I found out too late that I should have been going to the everkin land to sell my spoils to buy the rarer resources that I never seem to find. I think the game would be better if it gave you hints or ideas as to where youd find a smelly element, even if it meant knowing my current seed didnt have that. I know this game takes about 30 hours to complete, so I'm probably a 1/3 through it. I don't really know if I'll complete it, as the story isnt appealing, and grinding resources to access the different districts may not be that fun. I've finished the second district and i don't forseee the gameplay improving that much
