About

It is the dawn of World War II, and you take command of a remote military air base.

Engulf yourself in the Second World War and experience its battles from the perspective of your air base crew. It is your responsibility to make sure everybody is physically and mentally prepared to fulfil their duties.

Build up and manage a World War II air base. Your personal home for your planes and your crew members. Complete freedom of how you want to build. You will plan and place every wall.

Enjoy a variety of accurate fighter airplanes. A joy for aviation aficionados who know the difference between a Hurricane and a Spitfire. But consider: bigger airplanes will need bigger infrastructure. So make sure you can house some of WW2's most impressive airplanes.

Experience personal stories of your air base crew members. On your base every person matters and has their own personality. The game takes huge inspiration from the everyday life of airplane bases in remote locations and how it felt to live there, in good and bad times.

The game is built from the ground up to look like a living and breathing comic book, bringing the style of these timeless art pieces to life. From Bergèse to Hergé, the attention to detail and love for planes of the old masters is what we strive for.

Nice base building game with some drawbacks that I hope they fix in the early access. They really should add a tooltip to show resources on map.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is a relaxing game when you start. Granted there is much to learn after the "tutorial", and yes, there will be frustrations. The basebuilding however, is fun and you have to give some consideration into the planning or you will find that you need to redo things several times. The game runs fine even on my old piece of junk. I like the "cartoon style" and the sounds in the game is pleassant. Now the frustrations. Almost 60 hours into the game and YES, I did go through more than one upstart due to layout regrets etc. The most frustrating part is the fire update which can destroy you way too fast. If it was possible to specify zones of importants it might help, but seeing your crew trying to douce the fires in the tomato field while leaving the concrete fuel depot to burn is extremely frustrating. There are bugs and the Attacks you get thrown at you in standard settings without adjusting anything are overwhelkming - Mostly due to fires. THERE WILL BE FIRES and there is very little you can do about it. Some of the missions seems unbalanced and some seems rather random. In my latest game i send a bomb unit (3 lancasters....all i had) to do a 95% succes mission - None came back. Thats 24 VP gone and at the same time fires utterly consumed my hospital that was built in a bunker(Cement/Concrete) Add to that I am in Week 30 which is not too shabby, but that means that the intire map is vacuumcleaned from ressources like stone, mud and sand. So every time you need to rebuilt after a devastating attack you need to get supplies from HP and that is when the STRIKES begin(3 strikes and your game is over). I'd like to somehow feel that there was a way out of crisis situations after a bad attack, but some attacks just leaves you little other choise than to -Reload a save or start over. But I am having fun despite the occasional frustrations. Worth getting, but I really am looking forward to some balancing and some updates.
Great Game, active updates, devs clearly communicate plans
I like the game , its a very early version and i miss some QoL things but for some hours you can have a lot of fun building and mange an airport in WW2
This is another in a long series of games that came into early acsess too early. an easy way to tell is that if you play the tutorial and follow it to the letter your base is at risk of dying before you finish. The premise is cool, but the game ultimately detracts from itself. By trying to make you gather reserouces while building an airbase and sending out sorties it ultimately creates three seperate games bolted onto each other, sorta like rimworld but with an airbase. The game would be so much cooler if it leaned into one aspect, for instance base building. If it was made so that supplies came in a steady stream and made it up to you how much to prioritize comfort, infrastructure, or operations through that stream and managing workers it would be great and feel realistic. But when the game depends on this incremental growth i am constantly reminded that this is not how an air wing actually worked, and i am also constantly reminded why through the game mechanics.
The Game is Good, Ground of Ace's Game Mechanics are Great and can be really fun at times, However if you play long enough or you dont enjoy the era / aviation you could lose interest quickly
A nice, low-intensity game that lets you have fun building an airbase in 40s wartime Britain. While it does have moments where it feels rough around the edges, or not too user friendly, it's a charming game that has great potential as it works its way through early access. Well worth it.
