About

In GROUND BRANCH, you will play as the elite paramilitary arm of the CIA's Special Activities Center/Special Operations Group (SAC/SOG) and lead other special operations forces through challenging deniable ops all over the globe. With deliberate, calculated and unforgiving gameplay, GROUND BRANCH aims to be the true rebirth of the tactical realism genre of the late '90s and early 2000s. Powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 4, GB puts the "tactical" back in "tactical shooter" — no compromises.
GROUND BRANCH's unique True First-Person System improves world immersion and awareness of your surroundings, providing zero disconnect between your view and your character's physical presence in the environment. See your foot sticking out of cover? Better tuck it in — enemies may be able to see it (and shoot it) too, but only if their line of sight and muzzle are verifiably unobstructed. Cameras are placed at the character's eyes and bullets originate from the weapon's muzzle. Managing your height over bore when shooting around obstacles or aiming for precision in CQB is critical. In GROUND BRANCH, what you see is what you get.
A minimal HUD with multiple optional elements ensures that vital information is available, but never a constant obstacle to either immersion or your field of view.

Say goodbye to pre-defined kits and fully customize your character. From gear, basic appearance, and outfit, to in-depth vest and weapon platform customization, down to individual pouch and attachment placement. What you bring to your mission is determined by your loadout choice, which carries realistic consequences: with the encumbrance and stamina system, too much equipment will impact your character’s speed and performance; place a scope too forward on the rail and your sight picture will be too small; bring a long rifle into CQB and weapon collision may prove a hindrance.
Forget unlocks, microtransactions and loot boxes. Ground Branch operators get all the right tools for the job straight away — courtesy of the Agency.
Whether in 8-player co-op or 8v8 adversarial game modes, GROUND BRANCH’s unforgiving gameplay makes careful and calculated teamwork essential. Gather your teammates and practice in full-featured training areas, including shooting ranges with dynamic targets and a killhouse with multiple floor plans. Integrated VOIP with both 3D positional voice and team radio ensures full communication capabilities with no need for third-party software. Text chat and pre-recorded voice messages (commo rose-style) are also available for the mic-less and the shy.
Prefer single-player? Missions with friendly A.I. and a full command system are planned for the future.
In the tactical shooter realm, movement and weapon handling are king. Take full control of your character with standing, crouching and prone stances, each with multiple movement speeds. Unique weapon postures (including low- and high-ready), leaning, free-look (head movement independent from aim), and optional and customizable free-aim (dead zone) put every part of your movement in your hands. Add dedicated mouse sensitivity sliders for point-shooting, unmagnified, and magnified aiming, and highly configurable key binding options.
You can also alternate between default actions of certain controls, such as whether a bolt action operates itself after firing or requires another click to operate.

⏳ GROUND BRANCH's unique "campaign" format will deliver smaller, more localized sets of missions based around global hotspots, with a centralized intelligence interface to monitor them and receive new mission orders over time. The choices you make along the way may affect future engagements.
☑️ Based on unique environments all over the world, the non-linear mission and map designs offer multiple entry points and open-ended outcomes.
☑️ Enemies are spawned at mission start, with a degree of randomization to quantity and location. No "monster closets" or magic enemy spawns based on player location or mission progress.
☑️ Ready Room: A physical multiplayer lobby where you can plan your approach, see your teammates' loadouts, test weapon configurations on a firing range and jointly select insertion points.
☑️ Full and 100% free dedicated server support. Host a server wherever you want!
☑️ Unit patches that can be attached to your character's sleeves and gear.
⏳ Full support for MP ladders.
☑️ After-action review (AAR) following each mission/round.
☑️ Server-side options.
⏳ Full mod support.
☑️ No item unlocking, hit markers, kill confirmations or score pop-ups.
⏳ Weapon bracing/supporting.
☑️ Varied arsenal: Multiple handguns, submachine guns, carbines, assault and battle rifles, machine guns, DMRs, sniper rifles and explosives to choose from, with a full suite of optics and attachments to complement them.
☑️ Map variation: In addition to day and night versions as well as weather variation, maps have small details that can change between rounds, such as doors and windows that may be open, closed or blocked.
☑️ Unlimited loadout save slots.
☑️ Item sharing/dropping/pickups.
☑️ Accurate ballistics with penetration, bullet drop and stopping power simulation.
⏳ No regenerating health or health packs: Administer first aid to non-lethal injuries that would further reduce combat effectiveness if not treated.
⏳ Location damage model: Expect visible injuries and consequences, such as limping, reduced arm function, and/or hits to stamina and accuracy. Players immobilized from a non-lethal injury can stay in the fight.
⏳ Drag teammates to safety to administer first aid – or to safely recover their ammo, gear, or cargo.
☑️ Appropriate and realistic playable female characters.
☑️ Partial controller support (configurable).

정식출시의 뜻을 잘못 알고 올린거같다. 얼리엑세스를 너무 오래해 독이 퍼진게 아닐까 한다.
Started out good many years ago, added features - It looked good. But this release is terrible. The AI is horrible all of a sudden, the FPS is even lower than at launch now that they added a lot of "ambience" and made the maps much bigger, so its borderline unplayable. They also "updated" all the best maps and turned them huge and horrible. The gunplay itself is good, but if you can't play the game, and have nothing to shoot at, then what's the point?

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pretty much abandonware at this point, 1.0 felt like a joke, i cant believe i spent my money on this game, so dissappointed, its the same game since i purchased it in 2022, just with a fancier ui, thats all And dont get me started on the bots, if the see one pixel of your body from across the world, the instantly shoot you dead center on you, like 1 zeptosecond of reaction time, by the time you heard the first shot, you already rage quitting, so yeah, joke of a game
-see the game go to 1.0 Update and got hype -ignor all the red flag on the internet be cuz im dumb -pay and play the game -holy ♥♥♥ the game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥ the game is SOOO ASSS -the AI is bad -the gunplay is bad -cant blass some dude i guess -the only thing "fun" is costume the gun and the loadout -mfk i cant choose the armor plate type ???? imma behonest here guys , i kinna rather play RoN and gore mod becuz the game can give me that Mil-Sim feel more then this game lol .
This is not 1.0 at all, guys. Not even close. They have only one (even half of one) mission in campaign with message "To be continued". Some broken aspects are still broken. Game mods are still in alpha. Bugs in multiplayer etc etc Anyway there are still some cool features and things you can do with your friends. For it's price it is ok... but I feel like gamers were scammed with "EARLY ACCESS" again and it always will be a DEMO forever never finished. The only good example of the game I bought in early access was Ready Or Not - they really finished it in a very good shape. All the others - they sell the demo and never finish their projects
The tutorial tips that pop up on the UI continually appear and repeat themselves each time you do something that "warrants" a tutorial. This extremely irritating feature cannot be turned off in the settings and takes up way too much of the screen.
War, war never changes. In the year 1945, my great-great grandfather, serving in the army, wondered when he would finally get to go home, strip his wife naked, and bury his throbbing ♥♥♥♥ deep inside the warm, dripping ♥♥♥♥♥ of the woman who bore the son he never got to see. Instead, the second he stepped through the door, he climbed onto a chair, grabbed the spinning ceiling fan, and started ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the blades like a man possessed, moaning as the metal whirred against his shaft while his wife watched in stunned silence. Later that same night he staggered out to the driveway, dropped his pants, and shoved his entire ♥♥♥♥ into the hot, oily car engine, thrusting into the pistons until black grease coated his balls and the whole neighborhood could hear the wet, mechanical squelching. He got his wish when the U.S. ended WWII by dropping an atomic cloud of pure, radioactive orgasmic force on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The world awaited Armageddon… instead, something miraculous happened. We began to use atomic energy as a nearly limitless source of power to fuel our endless, sweaty, skin-slapping ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. People enjoyed luxury once thought only possible in the dirtiest science fiction fantasies. Domestic robots programmed to suck ♥♥♥♥ on command, fusion-powered cars with vibrating seats that made you ♥♥♥ while driving, portable computers that streamed nothing but hardcore pornography. Then, in the 21st century, people awoke from the American dream with their pants around their ankles and ♥♥♥ drying on their thighs. Years of greedy, gluttonous consumption led to the shortages of every major resource… including lube. The entire world unraveled into a desperate, sex-starved mess. Peace became a distant memory, replaced by the wet sounds of people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the ruins. It is now the year 2077, and we stand on the brink of total war, and I am afraid… for myself, for my wife’s tight, needy ♥♥♥♥, for my infant son who will never know the sweet taste of a woman’s juices… because if my time in the army taught me one thing, it’s that war, war never changes. It just gets wetter, louder, and a whole lot dirtier—especially when you’re balls-deep in a ceiling fan or a roaring car engine
GROUND BRANCH is honestly one of my favorite military games on my list. I really love what this game is trying to achieve, especially the realistic CQB, gunplay, movement, weapon handling, and the overall feeling of being in a real tactical operation. There are definitely bugs and things that still need work, but I completely understand that development takes time. I just really hope the team keeps believing in the game and **doesn’t give up on it**. The potential is huge. The foundation is already here, and with more updates, fixes, content, and improvements, I truly believe GROUND BRANCH can become one of the best realistic military shooters out there. Please keep going and keep the dream alive. I know it can be frustrating dealing with bugs and development challenges, but there are players like me who really appreciate what you are building and want to see this game succeed. Thank you to everyone working on GROUND BRANCH. Keep pushing, keep improving, and don't give up. **This game deserves to reach its full potential.** ❤️🔥💪
MicroProse is a shady publisher with some pretty gnarly background issues going on, and it's clear that this slop being published as a 1.0 release with their name attached is pretty sus.
