Gridform

Really good game. Sometimes there are so many things going on though. You get used to it but at first i had my eyes wide open trying to comprehend what is happening lol. Levels start to get very hard, but the reward after completing them is worth it. The music is also really solid. Fun game!

Better and more interesting gameplay-wise than GW2 in many ways. And it doesn't hurt that the game looks stunning.

Gridform is a nice challenging twin stick shooter inspired by Geometry Wars. It mostly resembles GM3 albeit in 2d with a campaign consisting of many missions without any required grinding to level up. The base enemies originate from GM but most of the enemies are original. You can choose between 5 ships each equipped with different primary weapons but you'll only need the standard one. The other ships are just extra to have a bit of fun with, they won't give an advantage to any of the levels. The secondary weapon is a large beam which takes a while to charge. There are 78 regular levels and 3 boss levels. Most have pretty original objectives, some are just challenging while others are quite unusal but all are pretty short which I like. The sides of the level act as progress bars which can be useful. The game can be played with dual stick controller, keyboard + mouse/tablet or (one handed) controller + mouse/tablet. The last option is called hybrid control in game and was added by my request. I love using my PS3 Move Nav Controller for twin stick shooters. There is just the one achievement for clearing all levels of the game and no leaderboards. I think that right there are missed opportunities. When I enjoy playing a game I like trying to get all the achievements and do some score chasing. If you enjoy(ed) playing Geometry Wars you'll love this one. 今まで遊んできたゲームの中で一番面白い ローグライクなツインスティックシューティング ツインスティックシューティング系は 基本的にありきたりなゲームが多いがこれは違う 全部で７０面あるがステージクリアの条件が 全部違うので毎回異なる攻略法が必要になってくる 自機は５種類の弾道が選べるので的確なものを選び あれこれ攻略方法を考えないとクリアできない とても完成度が高いシューティングゲームなので 買っておいて損はしないはず（セールで100円）

Cool little geometry wars clone, but instead of a score attack it has a lot of interesting mini game type challenges.

This game is really good. This game is also difficult. When you complete a level you have been working on it is worth it.

Gridform is a decent twin-stick shooter with smooth gameplay, but it's not Geometry Wars 3. It offers fun, intense action, but it lacks the depth and variety of Geometry Wars. It's a solid pick if you're looking for a fresh, arcade-style shooter!
