Great Permutator is a puzzle. Hard and tricky. One in which you will have to build a complex system of conveyors and various devices so that the colored boxes can travel across the factory and arrive at right places and in right order. If you are into clever engineering puzzles, this game is for you.

Intriguing and challening puzzle game. Even better: available on all platforms. :)

It's hard
Do not support native secondary mouse click by the MagicKeyboard in Apple Mac OS X. Recommendation: use the preferences and go to Mouse and enable secondary mouse option, I hate this solution but.... well, is the only option available for this game.

I can't recommend it because it's just too hard. It could have been a really fun game but it's just punishingly difficult... ...it's like starting a puzzle game right at the very end, at the hardest levels, on the hardest difficulty setting; no difficulty curve to speak of, just an immediate difficulty spike, like hitting a wall. It's a shame because it could have been a really enjoyable game but it's just too hard to be fun. Also, it definitely shouldn't have the "casual" tag, it's just too difficult to be mainstream enough for that tag. I'd definitely suggest playing the demo so that you can get an idea of what you're letting yourself in for.
A perfect mid-tier difficulty puzzle game where if you stare long enough, most of the levels will finally click. It strikes a happy balance between challenge and reward that'll keep you guessing and constantly trying to optimize your solutions.
Most reviews have summed it up pretty well; this is a very difficult puzzle game in the same vein as a Zachtronics game. There's a demo available... so try that. Having finally finished the base 50 puzzles, I can say that it's difficult all throughout. None of the levels really tread on the same ground solution-wise, which means you've really got to think on every level. Good undo and redo feature that allows you to experiment. The biggest flaw (of the genre really) is the leaderboard. It's completely pointless because there's a guide that'll give you every solution. With very little competition and activity, it's just not worth attempting unless you really enjoy it. It's not the prettiest game, but if you're looking for a tricky puzzle game, you can definitely do worse.
