Haven't touched a Mega Man game before but I had a great time with this one, a very polished and sleek action platformer. The art is bright and clean, making every level is a joy to look at. Character designs are also a high point with each level rewarding you with a visual treat of a boss in both their portraits and sprites. The game plays as smooth as you would hope for this kind of fast paced action, and it puts up a fight from beginning to end. I was initially sceptical of a player character with very stubby punches having to dance around contact damage, but you have enough fine control over your movement that you can work around this with good positioning, or an optional upgrade. The game offers a wealth of extra moves, secret techniques and passive buffs that you can purchase in between levels but personally I didn’t really engage with them. There are definitely games where I would abuse these kinds of systems to the fullest but here your base kit is pretty feature complete, and a lot of upgrades felt like they would trivialise the levels (it’s a bit weird having a double jump as an optional upgrade). But even then, there were upgrades that allowed me to stick to the base playstyle, repurposing the burst gage as extra health and buffing my melee and hook shot to minimise some tedium. I came out of this looking forward to the sequel, but it does leave me hoping for the hook shot and throw mechanics to be further fleshed out. Every interaction with the swinging seems to default to you immediately disengaging your hook and falling to your death. You hit a wall, you drop, you bump into a ceiling (which is hard to avoid when you want to make bigger swings), you drop. The swings are more for lateral movement but there are moments where you have to use it to climb up a corner in order to reach a collectible and it feel incredibly finicky. Your hook shot also has limited range and you will often have to aim straight up at the peak of your jump to get it to connect with the ceiling, which leaves you at the mercy of the game’s controls and modern D-Pads. Since the game binds movement and aiming to the same input and many D-Pads are more analogue than digital, there are a lot of accidental diagonal hook shots that whiff and condemn me to hell. As it is the mechanic is very fickle and hard to rely on. The throw actually feels great and if you play well, you can string together a lot of easy kills with it throughout the level, but I hope it evolves as a concept. Something like enemies and projectiles having different properties when thrown, level mechanics being tied to throws, or maybe some platforming applications. And I hope we get more opportunities to use it against bosses. It would be very cathartic to end a fight by tossing a son of a bot into the abyss. Overall a really fun game with room for improvement that I’m sure the sequel will capitalise on.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Modern Megaman, fast paced, good enemy variety, great bosses, amazing music, polished. Just play it if you're a megaman fan. Or if you're a fan of sidescrollers in general, this game is amazing!
I got this game for free. After spending as many hours on it as I did, I wish I paid for it. It's really challenging! When you first play it, the stages are upsettingly difficult. It doesn't help that the game doesn't explain you any of the mechanics it has (EDIT: wait. i think i accidentally skipped the tutorial LMAO ok i'm sorry for the slander, the game DOES explain everything), so you have to figure everything out on your own. Getting through Crash's level was especially frustrating to me, I just couldn't get the hookshot work the way it was intended. Once I got it though, it became my favorite thing to use. The practice does pay off! Anyway, I got as many achievements as I possibly was capable of (the hoop hates me personally). I enjoyed the characters, what little we got of them, anyway. Enjoyed the music tremendously. My hand hurts from holding the sprint button constantly. Thank you for the entertainment, DomAnt. I'll be there for the second game. Hope to see more familiar faces in that one.
filho do megaman X e Z. Muito bom, jogaço!
Only beaten the game once on Normal and I definitely recommend this.
played the game on hard, then tried playing challenge modes afterwards. hard felt too easy with the use of upgrades that break combat fundamentals (non-space reliant defensive moves that deal high damage to bosses), while challenge modes only accentuated the repetition of the level design. levels generally reward very slow, tedious methods of making progress through low risk hit and run strategies or by being forced to wait around for environmental hazards to disappear. there was a particular upgrade i acquired immediately that dropped enemy damage from 3 to 2, but the main purpose of hard mode is to increase enemy damage from 2 to 3. this, along with the double jump upgrade i acquired early and the generous healing placed on stages, resulted in me quite literally running past every enemy and environmental hazard in every level with very little challenge. id say the real fun to be had is in the speedrunning, cuz playing quickly would probably get you in higher risk situations. i never ended up committing to this in full because i didnt find the speedrunning experience all that special compared to other games with that kind of dynamic. the fiction has its appeal, i enjoyed roleplaying as a super powered robot fighting other super powered robots and i appreciated the reveal at the end of the story that elaborates on the true nature of the main character and his setting. i felt there were enough clues laced early on to make that reveal satisfying, so theres a sort of mystery appeal there. i wasnt too into the early story unfortunately, i was tempted to mash through the dialogue as quickly as possible just to avoid listening to the dreary and uninsightful dialogue from the side characters you rescue. in general it was kind of painful to have to skip through dialogue constantly just to access menus i desire, like upgrade shops and stage selections. achievement and secret hunting didnt feel like a great use of my time either. i sort of enjoyed collecting the currency needed to buy upgrades, their hiding spots sometimes had a nice mystery feel to them where you would have to keep an eye out and subvert the level design to find useful stuff, but most collectibles were hardly challenging to obtain and were just gated behind easy platforming sequences or literally given to me for free. all in all? a flashy game with easy combat and platforming, fiction that takes a bit to get interesting and occasionally surprising mysteries backed up by a banging soundtrack that i didnt mention cuz im not exactly a music critic. it might be worthwhile on a discount, especially if you are more of a casual gamer, but its not really to my tastes as someone who has played the considerably more complex and difficult megaman games. wish i could give a mixed review, but ill have to settle for negative.
Im kinda mixed about it, but I do recommend it, its a good game, I have some opinions. The game content is good, the art is lovely and the story is great, but the game mechanics feels rushed, I had such a harsh time trying just to move around without taking damage, it dosent seem like it is my fault, like the hook (what feels the core move set) is not pushed to use it more as a movement quirk, I got so annoyed of grappling and the game un-hooking me because I touched a wall for a moment, its not fun to use that as a traversal tool. It got fun when I stopped using the hook to move around and started using it only as a weapon, but I wanted it to have more uses as a traversal tool, more platform obstacles that catter to think with what you have at your disposal. I played the whole game in hard mode with floating blue armor paint, double jump and speed basher, really fun movement focusing only in dash damage. In general, the game is great I loved the pixel art work in this game, its so cute and charming. For achievements hunters its a ok experience, kinda hard if you are playing on hard (duh), the exploration is really chill, but the bosses are too hard, especially the last one (not a negative point, I like this). You can earn achievements by playing on easy, for some reason the NO TIME FOR SPIKES! and MECH NEW FRIEND! were kinda buggy, but got them after a while. Its worth the price (even though it was free for a time), I hope the next one fixes my problem that I had.
Good
10/10 gran juego con esencia de megaman pero que tiene su propio estilo, sería un 11/10 si al final el prota se hubiera quedado con la enfermera
