OK, I got sold on the premise that this game was supposed to be a sort of a hidden gem. And you know what? It actually is and it delivers big time. It's an honest arcade offroad blast with fun handling, great car and locale selection and it doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't.

I enjoyed playing this game but I noticed an issue with the game and its the same issue as another reviewer has mentioned. I came 1st place a few times and when the results came in I was 2nd or 3rd place this was not fastest lap it was a race.

A fun simcade. Nothing too deep, but it has its charm. Once you get to the middle of the career, that’s finally what the game is about, and it’s fire!
As a huge fan of Milestone S.R.L games I like Gravel. But I won't say this is the best ever off-road racing game and it's kinda a trash title from 'em. The career mode's bugged for all the "time attack and smash up" challenges. No matter how good the time I get and it shows I got 1st place but at the scoreboard is always puts me at last place which is so frustrating because of not getting 3 stars. Other than that this game's so fun like the graphics, visuals, sound design, multiple environments like snow, desert, race track, ocean with day and night cycle. The best part of this game are the vehicles with their actual sound designs, liveries and details and they're so fun to drive on the races.
People say this game is a hidden gem, I really don't see why. It's not terrible, but it's not very good either. Here's why : - Camera angles are atrocious, you can't see ♥♥♥♥ in front of you in external cam, and can't see ♥♥♥♥ around you in internal cam. - All cars in the same class handle the same way. I've tried several 4WD cars in thesame race, to compare, and found absolutely no difference. - Physics gets wonky at time, you get stuck in the back of the car in front of you (which you could hardly even see because camera angle), or you get catapulted skyward or do barrel rolls for no apparent reason. Like, driving with the right side in the water sent me into multiple tumbles to the left ? The game runs mighty fine, so there's that. But also, no key bindings. Overall, very mid game that doesn't bring much to the table. If you're interested in offroad races, Dakar Desert Rally is a much better option.

A fun and decent full arcade racer. Review after a full run of 14 hours. [b]Positives:[/b] - Good graphics - Fun races with jumps, break neck races down hill, water splashing while racing on the beach, a lot of adrenaline. - Fun metal music while playing - Can start playing after 5 seconds after entering the menu because the races are from the menu and you dont need to waste your time in an open world. [b]Negatives:[/b] - Pretty bad control but you can get used to it, get good at it because this is a full arcade game this aspect is not that imporatant i think but it can be annoying. You have some assists available if you cant handle the control too well. Remember this is not a simcade or a sim racer, its a full arcade racer that is just stupid fun with good graphics/fun music.
