Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.86/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.38/day in the week to Jul 25 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

x-- 7.1 / 10 --x It's super cute, although it feels a bit limiting. Like, once you've done everything... you've done everything. I don't generally play sandbox type games, but this one was adorable as heck.
cute
Adorable and chill. If you're like me, and you like sandbox games with absolutely zero stakes or wrong ways to play, you will like this. This is everything I wanted SimCity to be, back in the day, when all my cities failed after about one in-game week. I'm terrible at strategy-based city builders, but Gourdlets is different. You can't fail at Gourdlets. I see that several players find the lack of strategy, or sense of Achievement, boring. My dudes, I put it to you that you have forgotten about imagination. This is not about achievements (though there are achievements to achieve), and it's not about levelling (though the Gourdlets can "mature", whatever maturation for a tiny vegetal being in a silly hat means). This is like when you were a tiny kid, in your room pretending with your Duplo sets. There's little guys, you give them little things to do. They farm, they cook, they play on swing sets, they wander into each others' houses to use the toilet and take a bath if you let them. They talk to their lawn flamingoes, for heaven's sake. It's hilarious fun. As a rapidly shrivelling gamer of advanced age, I still love that stuff. You're *allowed* to love that stuff. Gourdlets is a huge, imaginative toy box which encourages you to love all that stuff. It can be a little buggy, sometimes, in the sense that occasionally one of the bookcases in my public library might turn into a palm tree. I'm not sure that's supposed to happen. I'm calling it a feature and taking it as a caution not to tax my laptop RAM with adding *too* many ferris wheels. It's good! It's an indie game! It's an amazing piece work by a single developer! I like it a lot.
how far is that? 5 miles? 5 miles is 5 miles? i knew you would say that? then why did you ask that? idk
é muito legal, mas depois de uma tempo, cansa. tem poucos moveis e poucas coisas pra decorar. mas de resto, é bem fofo e relaxante.
If you could measure the sheer number of squeals from my kids while playing this game then you would know it’s a good one. It’s relaxing, fun, surprisingly changeable. My four kids played it for hours yesterday. They LOVE IT. Two kiddos made adorable villages. My son made a crazy island. My youngest daughter made a HAUNTED HOUSE (legit black and purple with bat pattern for the carpeting). I bought the game but my kids won’t let me play it. It’s that adorable and that fun. The only thing that would make this better is being able to visit each other or even have a central island that you can alter and change together while there are off shooting ones that are player controlled only. (I have two kids that can be griefer, the other two will be upstanding citizens).
