Dynamic Interactions and Gameplay Settings
As a player, you share the same damage system as the active, physics-based ragdolls in the game. This shared damage system makes every encounter thrilling, as you balance between creating chaos and protecting yourself.

You also have control over various gameplay settings. Whether it's activating invincibility, turning on noclip, or switching to creator mode (which grants you access to the Reality Crusher), you can tailor the game to your playstyle.

Map Editor and Workshop
With GoreBox's built-in map editor, you're not limited to just playing in the game world - you can create it. Construct custom maps and decorate them with your choice of textures. Then, share your creations through the game's built-in workshop and explore maps from other players.

Express Yourself!

Customize your character with unique skins, clothing, armor, and hats, or go ragdoll at will. Trade items effortlessly using in-game currency, but be careful, death comes with a cost, as you’ll drop a portion of your money.

The limits are only bound by your imagination. So, what are you waiting for?

The game has a lot of potential in its current GB27 state. It feels like a fresh start for Gorebox and there is a lot that could be done with it, but at the same time, seeing how things went with the previous game makes me a little less confident about where this is all going. I don't expect everything to be perfect, especially since GB27 is still a prototype, but there are some things I really hope F2Games takes seriously this time. What I would personally like to see Gorebox become is something similar to Garry's Mod, where the game has an absolutely massive amount of modding support and servers that can all be completely different from one another. Since GB27 is made in Unity, there are already a ridiculous amount of possibilities for what could be done with it. If the Gorebox API is openly available and properly supported, people could make some insanely creative stuff and build onto the game in ways the developers themselves probably wouldn't even think of. I think that's what could make Gorebox genuinely huge. You could have servers that turn it into a military simulator, a life or roleplay game, a survival or apocalypse game, or basically anything people can come up with. At the same time, you could completely ignore all of that and just have your friends hop onto a sandbox server and do ♥♥♥♥ all for hours. That's the kind of sandbox experience I think Gorebox could be really good at. The community is a huge part of what keeps a sandbox game alive. Games like Garry's Mod and People Playground have lasted as long as they have because people are constantly making new things to play with. Without proper modding support, you eventually reach a point where you've seen everything the developers have to offer and there isn't much reason to keep coming back. GB27 obviously doesn't have much content right now because it's a prototype, and that's completely understandable, but eventually there needs to be something that lets the community create its own content and keep the game going. Multiplayer is another big part of that for me. The multiplayer in GB27 was pretty promising, but without dedicated servers I'm still not sure how far it's actually going to go. Multiplayer is something I think fits Gorebox extremely well, especially when the whole point of the game is messing around in a sandbox. Being able to have a bunch of people on a server with completely different things going on could give the game an insane amount of replayability. My concern comes from the fact that the previous game was only recently abandoned. GB27 might be a clean slate, but the people making it are still the same people. I don't think you can just abandon a game and suddenly have every bad decision made before it disappear when starting another one. Things like multiplayer and mod support took a long time to get into the previous game, only for multiplayer to eventually be removed because of the problems with cheaters and keeping up with patches. I understand that maintaining something like that is difficult, but seeing a major feature get removed after all that work naturally makes me question whether the same thing could happen here. That's also why I hope the team doesn't repeat the same mistakes with GB27. I don't want to see multiplayer, modding or other important features get treated as something that can just be added and removed whenever it becomes inconvenient to maintain. I would rather see the developers build the foundation properly and let the community grow around it. I also hope the game doesn't eventually fall into the same greedy design that a lot of multiplayer games have nowadays. I really don't want to see servers filled with transactions, especially roleplay servers where you have to pay to win or spend money just to have an advantage over everyone else. If the community is given the tools to make their own servers, I'd rather see people get creative with them instead of everything eventually becoming another monetized game mode. Overall, I genuinely want GB27 to succeed. I can see an insane amount of potential here, and that's exactly why I'm critical of it. I don't expect the game to have everything right now, but I hope F2Games understands that the community is going to be a massive part of keeping Gorebox alive. If they can get the modding, multiplayer and server side of things right, I think this could become something much bigger than just another sandbox game. It could become a platform where people keep finding new ways to play it for years instead of eventually running out of things to do. For now, I'll be refunding the game due to its lack of content and for the fact that I am not sure for what's to come. I do not see a lot of communication from the team and I am afraid of what decisions will be made in the upcoming weeks so I rather keep the money to myself for now
