GoNNER is a tough as hell procedurally-generated 2D platformer with roguelike elements, following the largely misunderstood and altruistic Ikk on a journey to cheer up his only friend in this world - a giant landbound whale named Sally - by searching for just the right trinket in the deep and dark places nearby.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

GoNNER is an interesting case. While I like the gameplay, the roguelike tag of the game is totally out of place. Here, you start the game with 3 items of your choosing: mask, weapon and backpack. You can choose any of the items you've previously gathered. The thing is, you can't get anything more, that's your whole loadout. Meaning you already are at your most powerful state at the start of the run. Keep that in mind. The gameplay is what I really liked about the game, it's simple, fast and visually pleasing. The combo system encourage aggressive and fast paced play, and the visuals coming from reaching high combos were brilliant, although for some people it will be distracting. The issue I have, is that reaching high combos wasn't as beneficial at it should be. Main thing you get from combo are glyphs, which you can spend in the shop. The visual direction of the game is great, I love the color play! The game is kinda difficult at start, but it gets easier as you go play more and more. But for me there's one core issue for me. As an example, in Hades, you pick one weapon at the start of the run, then play and buff it with different boons. Every weapon can become strong, encouraging player to stick with it, even if they don't like it in the beginning. Here there's no boons, there's only that felling in the beginning, if you don't like the item at the start, it's very unlikely that you will come to like it later. That made me to not use most of the items in game. Forcing yourself to like something is not fun. It is also because of this runs were not that fun, every run felt pretty much the same. You either have fun with some loadout you like, or don't have fun with loadout you don't like. Most items in the shop are pretty pointless. The only thing I've been buying was health. You could say that you want to change your build mid run. But in my case it was never needed, my build was doing just fine on every level. And probably all of them will do just fine, provided you are comfortable with it. You could say that shop is needed when you lose items. When you get hit, you drop all the items on the ground, and need to pick them up. From my experience I was never in position where, I either lost an item, or not picking item would be beneficial in any way or form. Game is pretty short, it took me 5 hours to finish all achievements. To defeat the final boss it took me around 3/4 attempts and around 30/40 minutes. So it's more on the shorter side. Overall, while having some issues that hinder the amount of content in the game, I was having fun. The gameplay is really nice. If you like some fast paced gameplay and unusual visuals, you should give it a try. But I wouldn't buy it at full price, that is for sure. 6/10 maybe will goon again in the future.

(game not complete at 1.3 hours of review time, part of my review all my games effort) (short version) It's not a bad game however, it's not great either. The music is enjoyable, I like the concept, but for a rogue-like it's reward-punishment ratio makes the game boring. On top of that not really knowing what I'm getting as a new item or anything even though it adds mystery also adds frustration. $10 is a good price. (long version) A unique rogue-like with the level design, as you can't really the walls until you're right up on them. The gunplay is linear which can become annoying when it fees like the enemies are using the environment against you i.e. it's a bit cheap. Nothing new in the desert of gaming over all though and there are better i.e. fury unleashed. The good: I do like the mystery of the game and the music. It's appropriately priced at $10 The bad: The mystery in the game is a bit irritating when you've progressed and don't know if the pick up you're getting is worth it or not, the decision you make could cause a run to end due to the mistake you made. If you're hit your head falls off nullifying your health, the game can easily do (and does) a cheap move and hit you a second time ending your run. The head loss mechanic/disarm mechanic even pushed me into the next level once basically ending my run... There are better rogue-likes out there for this price i.e. dungreed and fury unleashed.
Death greets every step Strange worlds bloom beyond each fall Hope returns again
Starting off I died to the first few enemies just from trying to jump on them so I didn't think I'd get very far with this game. I decided to push on with a guide and honestly had a blast learning the zones and movement after finding out about the secret scythe weapon. Don't mind the reviews claiming the DLC ruined the game as it adds a quite inoffensive extra zone that takes maybe 3 minutes to complete each run. For a roguelite I suppose it is questionable to allow you to choose your starting load out freely but it also made runs very consistent so I personally didn't mind as someone whose main goal was to to see if I could get all achievements. Having a head that nullifies the main (admittedly quite frustrating) gimmick is also something I'm a bit mixed on. The enemy death explosions can be pretty distracting and it's also pretty awkward how the combo system can permanently mess with the palette of the current run. Overall though the art and music is nice and I also found the difficulty to get all the achievements very fair and had a fun time. If you're looking for a roguelite with tons of replay value I wouldn't say GoNNER is that but it's nice having one for a change that is doable to learn and complete without hours upon hours of attempts. Worth checking out.

Interesting art concept. Can't tell what is going on. Tried playing for a bit and just decided there's no way I'm continuing this game. Not for me.
No hay tutorial, no hay diálogos ni nada de lo habitual. Eres tú dándote contra una pared hasta que consigues superar un nivel tras otro sin hacerte caca encima. Si te lo estás pensando píllatelo de una.
A very satisfying arcadey platformer.
