Reviews
I played with no expectations and it was extremely enjoyable. I recommend you try it; it's definitely worth the money 90/100
The game starts off well enough. At first, the scope is small, the systems are easy to understand, and it feels like there might be a satisfying management loop underneath it all. Unfortunately, as time goes on, the game expands wide instead of deep. Rather than giving you meaningful ways to develop the gladiators you already have, it keeps throwing new buildings and new gladiator types at you, many of which you cannot realistically afford to use properly. If you are even slightly a collector or a curious player, the game quietly punishes you for engaging with it. You will be tempted to pick up one of each gladiator type just to test them out. But doing that means your existing units lose out on XP, upgrades get delayed forever, and suddenly you need enough equipment for a small medieval department store. Instead of building a focused team, you end up managing a bloated roster full of half-developed units and inventory clutter. The core loop also wears thin fast. Enter the colosseum, drag sliders around until your brain starts buffering, fight, collect too few rewards, repeat. A “recommended” button for autotargeting would have helped, especially on Easy difficulty, but apparently that would be too merciful. After 26 hours, I still have no clear sense of how long the campaign is supposed to last or whether I am meaningfully progressing toward anything. I have far more buildings than I started with, what feels like two dozen gladiator types, and yet I still have not been able to fully upgrade the units I began with. Easy difficulty should have been scaled much smaller: fewer gladiator types, higher rewards, less roster sprawl, and a clearer sense of campaign length. The game also badly needs better inventory sorting and tools to reduce the constant busywork. There might be a good game buried in here, but it gets smothered by scope creep, stingy rewards, repetitive battles, and too much management clutter. It goes way too wide without giving the player enough meaningful depth or control. After 26 hours, I am done.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have no problem with difficulty. I have no problem with weird combos; finding them to use or them being used against me (training for using them myself). I actually love the upgrade system and overall auto-battler style. The the lack of keybinds in (seemingly) obvious locations, the inability to set starting battle speed (so i can watch the starting fireworks instead of the occasional "fight is over in 3 seconds and wth happened"), the crashes in monthly arena causing you to LOSE ALL FIGHT PROGRESS effectively locking you out of achievements "because", the instant saving after every click (do NOT misclick or right click; turn it off if you have a custom keybind app)... I can't recommend this game. it's infuriating in all the wrong ways. Absolutely ridiculous to get 30 hours into a long carefully planned run to have the crashes, bugs, and impossible (with the units available) events suddenly lock out achievements and destroy a run.
1. I have to drag my gladiators to board every time. I would love to have a one click deploy button, could be the highest level ones or a preset etc. 2. Every time I open the game, it is going to show the devs+publishers+kickstarter backer. Just stop showing them after first time or one esc could skip them all. 3. You get a huge ad in the starting screen. I understand this is a good way to expose your new game, but it's so big, to the point of being annoying. However the overall experience is solid. so this is a positive review.
This game is what could be called a "Click end turn" simulator, as the majority of your time is spent repeatedly waiting for the next event, which is rarely any different from the 500 previous events. I love the look, and premise of this game, but there's SERIOUS balance issues. I can't overstate that strongly enough. There are several incredibly powered units, and many, MANY you never need to use. The skill upgrade resources are insanely tight, and you'll never max out more than a couple unit skills. You'll never fully upgrade more than a few gear pieces. You don't get refunded material when you decide to take a different upgrade path, so experimenting is incredibly punished. The combat in this game is so broken... There's one way to play this effectively--BURST DAMAGE. Most fights are over in seconds, so any skill, or item that benefits from drawn out fights is just pointless. Every fight is a messy explosion of instant kills, so strategy never really goes beyond exploiting that fact. There's no inventory sorting, so prepare to manually be doing that over, and over. Overall, this is a fun little time killer, but it needed more development time to balance EVERYTHING about this game, and streamline the sheer number of units that you never need to use. 5/10
I like the concept but there is too little variety in builds, units dont matter and u have to manage alot of em. All items are basic. Far too many things to choose from when its all the same anyways. A better approach would be to have a smaller team, stay with the gladiators u choose for a while and give em some more variety or perks that makes em stand out and not just be another basic unit of X type. The matches are also basic since u fight the same glads but just more of em etc, its a grinding game disguised as a game where u actually have a choice and no real challenge or reason to get a good team.
I thought I might get about 5 hours of fun out of this, but the gameplay wears of pretty fast. I got bored after 2,5 h. I mean, it is really cheap when it is on sale, but still: I wish there was more to do. And I wish the game had more personality.
I like to play on normal difficulty with permanent deaths and maximum 70% coins back after someone dies and it seems to be the best way to play but then a quick road block hits when 1 or 2 of my warriors die. Items become scarce, materials seem harder to get and enemies seems to grow in level pretty fast. I wish there was a little bit more balance with this sort of mode then ill come back to play. But it is a fun little game that i wish to continue under my circumstances.
