Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Sep 8 → 4.29/day in the week after.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1870.57/day in the week to Jul 25 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Legend
love this game
Generation Zero is a painfully under appreciated game, the steam community is all but completely dead yet the reviews for its entire lifetime have been vastly positive, only stagnating recently after its final update a few months ago. Until playing Helldivers 2 I'd never seen a shooter that actually took this type of skill in where you hit your targets, rather than just aiming for the head. And yes, it's very buggy, particularly in multiplayer, and some of the equipment, specifically the Experimental Weapons (six crown), are completely overpowered, though that's not exactly a strike against GZ due to the work it takes to get one. The story lines, if seemingly disconnected at times, all time back to one series of main missions (which were added quite recently, in all honesty). The progression is well thought out, with entire tiers of machines, spanning every type of machine, that aren't just health and damage increases, in fact I don't think the class has any effect on damage. What an "upgrade" from Prototype to Military class means in actual, destructible armour plating (or just more of it, in come cases), more weapons and more health. As an example, the Runners (or "robot dogs") only have SMGs in prototype class, but when in Military they can instead mount a shotgun, and always come with armour protecting their fuel tanks and joints. All in all, whoever designed the machines knows what they were doing. As for the weapons, they're all based on real-world guns that actually exist (excluding the Experimental Weapons, which are *mostly* based in actual experimental tech) with some alterations that are almost entirely artistic liberty and copyright safe naming (such as "Magnus" instead of "Magnum"). The developers even went as far as to give the 9mm pistol and SMGs different ammunition, as at the time when GZ is set they used different types of rounds (propellant changes, not calibre). My only complaints, aside from the aforementioned bugs, are that the developers have stopped support completely, meaning those bugs will never be fixed, the NPCs never shut up in the early game and some of the *very* late game assets are simply built from pieces of the machines. I'm not kidding, they're built from the same models, just mashed together, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just expected more after (largely) unique assets and structures throughout the rest of the game. (I played GZ through my steam family, buying it myself shortly before writing this, and it is a wonderful game. Well worth your money, if you're willing to yell at a near-invisible Hunter for nailing you with an instant-kill AMR from 200m out)
Love this game but it was a pretty creepy atmosphere starting off, and no I'm not talking about how i rode into a forest as a shortcut to avoid the bridge with the big ahh mech to come across a camp site with a outhouse on the other side of it and when i approached the site it turned night and when i approached the outhouse the light blew up and the entire area became silent hill foggy with 3 hunter machines coming out of the fog and approached the campsite area and i got scared as hell got onto the bicycle and booked it out of the forest NO IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THAT WDUM BRO THIS GAME DIDNT SCARE THE SHI OUT OF ME, MIND YOUR BUISNESS AND YOU CAN BITE ME 0 M 0
This is a very good game, but it's ruined by a few things. Most importantly, the vulture and reaper is just not worth spending any time on. -Took me 40 minutes, and dropped worse loot than even a normal LVL 2. Experimental 12 Gauge cannot fire slugs.. Really wish i figured that out before converting 20k+ ammo.. It also sucks how often it crashes with absolutely no warning or indication, i've had to do stuff over so many times.
