About
Gemblades is a single-player deckbuilder inspired by classic tabletop deckbuilders where you draft a deck of powerful heroes called Gemblades and battle against the forces of Onyxion, the Dragon Lord.
Every Gemblade is empowered by the magical properties of their own Gemtype.
Emerald: Growth and balance in everything.
Ruby: First on the battlefield and selfless to a fault.
Sapphire: Seekers of knowledge, legendary tacticians.
Hire Gemblades and combine their power to defeat the minions of Onyxion to save the world from his invasion!
There's also a Global Leaderboard where you can compete with others in the multiverse of Gemblades!

The game has plenty of sauce. It's inspired by Dominion, which is incredible in a sea of games copying Slay the Spire (ironic given StS was itself inspired by games like dominion). It gives the game a fast paced, incredibly unique vibe that works very well. No chaff, no fluff, only action. The deckbuilding is satisfying, the game has plenty of unique and interesting cards to keep you interested. There's also a surprisingly large amount of content in the game, in the form of card unlocks. There is a bunch of fanservice in the game, I'm not a fan of that kinda thing but the mechanics are strong enough that I'd recommend it even if you are initially offput. It's a "don't judge a book by its boobs" kinda situation. And if you're a fan of fanservice, then even better. At the pricepoint the game is at, it really feels like you're stealing a hidden gem. I'd recommend the game to anyone who wants something fresh in the deckbuilder genre. It's certainly worth trying if you're even just curious.
I think the game itself is really fun. I do think it feels a bit like a browser game (in the sense that there’s no real main menu or variation, you just boot up the game then click play on 1 of the 4/5 difficulties), but I also love card games and art and roguelikes, so I was very into it. Could for sure use more depth, but if you like deck builders I think you’d definitely like this. I like deck builders and do not feel scammed for 5$
