Absolutely love this game. Parkour, puzzle and gecko all in one game!!! I love that you can climb on ceilings, walls and rock. Hope there will be a DLC coming out.

Absolutely phenomenal! Found this game from a random trailer, and immediately played the demo when it came out. The second it came out I immediately spent my whole day just playing it. the story is fun, the gameplay rewarding and the environment the perfect mix of relaxing and engaging. Would recommend 1000%

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. I thoroughly enjoyed Gecko Gods, though I am afraid that I did have some challenges that kept me from fully loving this game. The gecko you play as is undeniably adorable, and I was excited to be able to unlock extra cosmetics through gameplay (though, admittedly, I only liked one cosmetic aside from the base option). The game immediately was very endearing and made me want to keep playing and discover more of the world. However, I found it challenging to understand some quests and their pacing. There is a moment in the game where you unlock the ability to travel away from the starting area and I somehow went further away and ended up being unable to finish certain puzzles and quests. I was able to use the in-game quest manager and map to realize my issue and backtrack to earlier quests that I hadn't finished, despite unlocking and sometimes almost entirely solving later quests. I think that if there was some sort of an alert indicating that you're progressing before you were meant to - or a roadblock entirely - to prevent you from jumping ahead would be helpful for other players. Aside from that issue, the puzzles were neither too easy or too difficult and instead felt like the right amount of challenge for me. I found myself celebrating figuring out each puzzle regardless of its difficulty, along with my community (I streamed my gameplay on Twitch). The ending sequence was very fun and exciting, leaving me satisfied with the game and story while still making me wish to learn more about the Gecko Gods.
Cute, fun game with entertaining mechanics. Really enjoyed the final level. Played with my non-gamer partner and she really liked it which is always nice.
※English is following.
It's packed with everything you love about geckos!
As a reptile lover, and naturally a gecko lover, I bought it immediately on release day! Moreover, the puzzle adventure genre also suits my tastes. "This game is made up of all the elements I love!" is my impression. The action features include the protagonist being a gecko, allowing them to cling to and crawl on walls and ceilings. More impressive than a ninja! Up, down, left, right, ignoring gravity, completely unrestricted! They can easily climb and descend even the steepest cliffs! With this in mind, hidden artifacts are placed throughout the game, making them quite difficult to find. However, I think that's part of the fun. I didn't understand the effect of "dash" in the initial controls section, so I wandered across many islands before realizing that I could use it to smash pots and defeat aggressive creatures. Along the way, I found a panel where I could change my character's color using in-game currency, but I had zero currency, so I thought, "I don't know how to get currency, but I guess I'll get some eventually." Actually, I could have collected currency from the very beginning by just smashing into every pot I found! I also realized that I could attack enemies that shoot fireballs, which I had only been dodging. I finally learned how to use dashing when an event occurred where I was trapped in a confined space with these enemies, and the door wouldn't open until I defeated them all. However, this also means that you don't necessarily need to use dashing outside of such events to progress through the game. Battles aren't the core of the game; it's focused on finding things in the open world, so it's recommended for those who enjoy exploration! Furthermore, as someone who sometimes gets motion sickness from 3D games under certain conditions, the ability to select "Automatic Camera Function OFF" is incredibly helpful. Just being able to do this significantly reduces the likelihood of motion sickness in third-person perspective 3D games! Ideally, it would be nice if the camera could be zoomed out a little more. I understand that the camera position is automatically adjusted to prevent it from getting stuck in walls indoors, but since this game involves a lot of searching around, a wider field of view would be appreciated in many situations. However, overall, I found it to be exactly as I expected—a game composed of all my favorite elements—so I would recommend it to the following people: ・Those who like reptiles/geckos ・Those who like puzzle action-adventure games ・Those who don't mind if there are battles or not, but prefer them not to be too difficult ・Those who enjoy searching for things If many of these apply to you, I think you'll definitely enjoy it!
I really loved running around as a lil gecko in this game. The patter sound of the little feet, climbing up on the ceilings, changing my color all the time; it was all so very satisfying. I enjoyed exploring the islands and looking for the little puzzles. It was really relaxing and the gecko yip sounds were so darn cute. Getting the Gecko God origin story for gathering all the collectibles was a nice touch as well. Become gecko, live that lizard life
Good game, peaceful and fun.
A very relaxing lovely puzzle and mild exploration game. The controls are amazing, and for every time they are difficult to wrangle, you remember the 1,000 times before they worked great, especially the nature of the freedom of movement in the game. You play as a little Gecko, which can go "pleeh!" on command. 10/10.
