Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Just as enjoyble as the Third-Person-Shooter main games, if not even more so.
Gears Tactics is probably the first tactics game i played since i guess Commandos 3, which for all of you born after 1990, was pretty much the biggest tactics franchise at the turn of the millenium and since then has basically vanished into obscurity. Looking at Gears Tactics, i was surprised how little has changed, yet how greatly fun the genre still can be. The only thing that keeps Gears Tactics from being a truly outstanding tactics game is the repetitive nature of the missiondesign: the game forces you to repeat the same couple of sidemissions over and over again throughout it’s campaign and it goes so far in that regard that later on it even starts to use maps that are designed extremely similar to previous missions you’ve already played, so towards the end of the game you‘ll basically get the feeling that you are playing the same two or three missions multiple times. This distracts heavily from the somewhat decent story and unnecessarily drags the campaign way beyond 20 hours, which is much too long for a game with such repetitive missiondesign, even though the gameplay itself remains fun until the end. ______________________________________________ GEARS TACTICS Genre: Turnbased Tactics Release: Q2 2020 ( ) 0/8 Simply one of the worst games ever made. Don't waste any money on this. ( ) 1/8 Bad. Seriously flawed with barely any redeeming qualities. Worth a couple of Cents at best, if at all. ( ) 2/8 Sub-par. Only for hardcore-fans of respective genre / series. Don't pay more than 5 bucks. ( ) 3/8 Meh-diocre. It‘s okay. Don't pay more than 10 bucks. ( ) 4/8 Decent, but not for everybody. Don't pay more than 15 bucks. ( ) 5/8 Good game, Must-play for genre- / series-fans. Worth 20 to 25 bucks max, if you are not a fan. 14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Bring Halo Wars 2 to steam, at least that had multiplayer.
It's an absolutely fantastic game... The storyline is really good, the missions are great. I can't fault it TBH
Soooooo much repetition.... as a HUGE GoW fan who has put off playing this game forever due to the genre swap, I'm pretty bummed out by this game. Most of the game is playing the same objectives on the same maps with slightly different mission parameters (get to the gate, hold the two control points, don't deploy any support/heavies, no grenades, 200% dmg for drones, etc). I'm gonna finish it for sure, but I'm on Act 3 ch 4 currently and seeing that I have to complete 3 additional side quests again rather than a main mission is so disheartening. Also, the randomly generated Gear recruits you find out in the world are absolute abominations (side note- 20% of them end up being named Carlo, which is weird lol) Lastly, the story is pretty meh. The characters are meh, with Gabe basically just being Dom but less interesting (sounds like the same VA even) and Mikayla being a super duper girlboss which was a popular trope back when this game dropped. I'd get it on a crazy discount if you're really into strategy games but otherwise, its a safe skip for even diehard Gears fans imo- save your money and get E-Day when it releases instead. Edit- f*** the hyrda boss fight at the end, super f*** it. I will not be finishing this game lol

ok
Not making extraneous credentials. No thanks.
A game by XBOX yet they're surprised I might be sitting on a sofa holding an xbox controller when I start the game and I might not want to type an email address / password into an amateur-hour UI that pops up and prevents me from playing the game. Instant downvote. Game's good. XBOX/Microsoft login sucks.
