Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very-very short presentation/point of view Gears Tactics ran fine for me. I played the campaign on a harder difficulty. The graphics are generally very good both between the missions mini-movies and the regular game/missions. I didn't have problems, it did push my graphics card (4080) - playing on a 4k screen everything maxxed - playing for the highest quality and not for "performance". The downside: I was never able to visually differentiate between enemies, I always had to use the TAC-COM (R key to turn it on/off). The game is very "obvious", it doesn't strike me to be difficult but I didn't play on the highest difficulty either. Somewhat similar to XCOM, but I will say that XCOM games are a lot more difficult. The only fight in Gears Tactics that took too long for me was the final boss fight, so when you see my total hours played, consider that I partially played a few missions before restarting the campaign, I have reloaded some fights several times because you know, personal mistakes have been made, and the last fight took a very long time, about 2 hours or more if I remember right. Replayability: I played a few "veteran" missions (after defeating the ultimate boss in this game), they are not different or more difficult than the campaign missions. For me this is not a game that is worth playing again. If you are a new gamer: forget anything that I've said about the game difficulty, enjoy the game. You start with 2 soldiers, complete battles/missions, obtain and recruit more soldiers, obtain more weapon components. Some of the missions, the "optional missions" - which are in fact mandatory, you have to select which ones to execute - are for leveling up the team and obtaining some more gear/weapon components with bonuses. For successfully completing missions (you cannot "unsuccessfully complete" a mission :) ), you receive better gear - and hopefully you do your best and collect most of the gear crates. In some missions there are 3 gear crates, in some missions 5; hover the mouse above the crates and you will see how many are collected and how many exist in that particular mission. The game revolves around missions and regearing your soldiers, leveling them up and choosing their skills at the level up (2 points / level). I would speak a lot by describing the game, but the game presents in a clear manner most of the requirements and information. My only "2 cents" points: I didn't manage to collect all the gear crates (I missed very few), I didn't manage to complete the secondary objectives in very few missions (I think 1 or 2, but I'm not sure). It's fine, you will get a lot of gear and it will compensate for what you missed. I would say more, but there are better game presentations out there (I saw a very good-complete one on reddit). I saw some game reviews complaining that there is no compelling to "fire" soldiers and recruit better (higher level) soldiers. I was totally indifferent, for me it was everything else that mattered. And yes, I kicked out low level solders and hired high level soldiers whenever opportunity presented. Would I recommend the game? If you don't like XCOM games: no. If you are neutral or if you like XCOM games: yes, I recommend the game. Find it on price reduction and enjoy :) This game is a lot of time on significant price reductions on Steam. The game is ok, it won't win "game of the year" awards but it is ok.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

6/10 +It looks great, feels good for a trpg. + tons of skills to play with. Storydriven, railroaded missions. - loot is very bare bones, you find something you put it on. no selling, modding, trading. -Charater restriction for missions. Why is it there? who knows.Sure is annoying tho. -Need xbox account + intro video is looks like ad for the game and lootboxes. Personally i rather play wasteland3/hardwest2/xcom.
Used to work, but just crashes after login now. A known issue they'll never fix. Avoid this one, especially on Steamdeck.
Decent tactical warfare. Only several maps that play and replay and replay. No story. Ho Hum. If it's offered for free, take it, but don't spend money on it.
♥♥♥♥ you im not signing into microsoft
I ked je nutne uznat kredity i studiu The Coalition, ktore v tomto s nimi takpovediac "kolaborovalo" a priniesli "Full GoW experience" len v taktickom mode. I vdaka tomu mame prepracovanu hratelnost a typicky masaker gameplay, ktory ku serii uz akosi patri. Opat tam mate skvely vyber "NFL" drsnakov s hustymi hlaskami a samozrejme opat ide o zachranu sveta (i ked technicky uz vlastne neni o co bojovat) taktiez potesi rozsirene lore ohladom zrodu nepriatela a taktiez tie sracky naokolo, ktorych sa dopostil COG. A ano, kto by to este dnes uveril, ze Unreal engine slape dobre, ze?? :D Soundtrack k hre skomponoval akysi Edward Patrick White (Codebreaker, Bear Grylls: Mission Survive) cize nizkorozpoctovby skladatel, ktory urobil slusnu pracu v ramci budgetu, budiz mu slava... :) + Pribeh (prequel) rozsirujuci lore Gears of War + hraje sa to ako XCOM (takze si to zaratajte ku kladom, ak ste nadsenci daneho zanru) + Slusna herna doba a nadherny vizual, ktory dokazal vykuzlit odchadzajuci Unreal Engine 4 - AI nepriatelov by chcela vylepsit, s cim suvisi i zasekavanie tahov enemakov a postup hrou treba obcas restartovat od checkpointu - Opakujuce sa nepovinne misie, ktore su podmienku posunu v pribehu - Co este.... hmm, asi ze chyba tam romantika?? Verdikt: 8/10 = Pre nadsencov do znacky Gear of War je to proste povinnost.
Pros: Solid game mechanics Graphics and Sound Cons: Repetitive missions & maps Shallow storytelling Lack of tactical depth and replaying value This game somehow plays and feels like the original Gears games more than XCOM series. But it quickly gets repetitive and less interesting.
