[h2] Intro [/h2] This game is similar to 'Return of the Obra Dinn', but with a cute art style. Gameplay is straightforward: you gather information through news and guild reports, ask the girl beside you for documents, pat her head, and then deduce the status of all party members. [h2] Pros [/h2] Despite the adorable art style, some plot points can be upsetting (as you can see there are 'Deceased' fields on the report in the preview image), so be aware the story isn't as cute as it looks. Overall, the story is pretty good; you can read the story of adventurers and the guild vividly. Although the game is shorter than 'Obra Dinn', the game requires you to carefully find the clues hidden in the text. Instead of explicitly stating "This person is a warrior," it might mention "This person mainly uses a sword and fights on the front lines," which leads you to infer their class. It is challenging when some information is never directly mentioned. The biggest pro is the price; with such a low price, you can easily burn at least 3 to 4 hrs. [h2] Cons [/h2] First of all, you will need to be able to read Japanese to play, as the game currently offers no translations in other languages. The UI design could be a little bit frustrating. Documents are titled with an ID, so finding a specific one takes extra time while you try to remember what the article contains. Even if you memorize the file ID, searching through a bunch of numbers is still a bit annoying. Lastly, there is only a single button to toggle between documents and party lists; it would be more intuitive to view both side by side. [b]However, the game is good enough for me to ignore those cons.[/b] [h2] Recommendation [/h2] I recommend it to people who are into detective games, especially people who like 'Obra Dinn' or 'Type Help' (I actually found and played 'Type Help' and this game because of someone else’s comment XD)
