Curse of Dragon Mountains 2: The Lair

Tales From the Dragon Mountain 2 starts off with someone writing you a letter saying that your old enemy is returning. You head to his house to find out more. There's no hand holding in this sequel; you either know who everyone is or you don't. I can't decided if this is a pro or a con because on one hand - no long explanations of things I already know, but on the other, it's been a while since I played the last game and could have used the refresher course. From what I was able to play, it's not bad. The voice acting is shoddy (but most hidden object games are) and the dialogue doesn't really match up, but that's the norm in these types of games. Everything I've played through seems like standard hidden object game material. Here comes the bad part. When I finally get to the first warp area, things are going smoothly, I'm crusing along and when I go to open the magic garden gate . . . it won't load. In fact, it gives me an error about how it's missing a chunk of data and asks if I want to continue or quit. I continue, but I can't do anything else. So I quit. Then I delete and reinstall. Start a new profile and reach the same area again. Moment of truth. Same thing happens again. Don't know how wide spread this issue is, but it's something to consider before purchasing. Tales from the Dragon Mountain 2: The Lair does bring a lot of head scratching moments to the player, and casual adventure fans will love playing it. Cateia Games has been delivering puzzle games for since 2007 and perhaps they should consider reaching for a more advanced audience who take puzzle adventures more seriously. Not great, not terrible. A lukewarm, sub 3-hour hidden object game without hidden object scenes (so it's rather a very-very light point and click?) that is 5 years old and quite outdated, without steam achievements or cards. Decided on a "recommended" review because the main criticism, a game-breaking error is not being an issue anymore, it has been patched out a gooood while ago. The puzzles are very unoriginal by today's standards but the game had a nice flow to it because of these known elements, it's just easy to blitz through it.

I really can't say much about this game sence I can't get a pass a black screen saying error when you enter the garden. I uninstalled it then reinstalled it and it did the same thing. I like the first one and the begining of this one was good too. I just can't understand why it is saying (error missing data) quit or continue. If you say continue you get a black screen and you can't get out of it . then you have to go to task managerment to end task . Please I hope the fix this issue I like to get back playing it.

Not bad, ok, 5/10 etc. A shame there aren't actually Hidden Object scenes but the puzzles aren't annoying, the achievements all worked for me and I had no gameplay issues like crashing or getting soft-locked. I don't regret buying this.

《龙岭传说2：老巢》，剧情接着1代，讲的是女主角又一次打跑大魔王的故事。因为1在2年前已经视频通关过，外加多半差评，所以只买了2。但不知道为什么只买了2后却发现库里1和2都出现了，我买的也不是包啊？特意检查了下邮件收据，我确实只买了2啊？如果真是买2代送1代的话，为啥商店页面不注明呢？ 该作采用的是3D画风(?)，我不知道怎么描述，不过看看商店页面里的截图应该就明白了。像是把素材直接贴在背景图上，并没有进行润色，使得很多东西显得非常突兀。剧情对话用的对白卡的方式，对白卡上的人物头像表情僵硬很不自然。游戏BGM还不错。 《龙岭传说2》和其他平面点击解谜游戏最大的不同是，他没有寻物谜题。一般的平面点击解谜游戏都会在游戏中穿插寻物谜题，通过寻物谜题来获得部分道具。但龙岭传说[b]全程没有一个寻物谜题[/b]，所有的道具都在场景里，直接拿就行，倒是真直接……其实我一直想吐槽寻物谜题这种东西，明明就要拿一个道具，却非要再找十几二十个完全八竿子打不着边的物品，都找到了之后才能把想要的那个道具拿走。不过玩的解谜游戏太多，也习惯了这件事，所以突然遇到这么耿直的龙岭传说，还有真有点小不适应…… 虽然没有寻物谜题，但其他解谜游戏的东西还是有的。小游戏难度中等，游戏内也有收集品。游戏内还有一本详尽的笔记本，我很喜欢这种详尽记录剧情的笔记本，现在这个快餐年代很难看到了。不过游戏内并没有地图，也就没有快速传送，不管多远的路都必须一个场景一个场景的自己走过去，很麻烦。成就的话有需要高难度下通关及全小游戏不跳过的成就，而且还有全程不使用提示的成就，这个就有些难了，因为游戏的可互动区域并不明显，很多物品也混在背景图中很难注意到，经常就会游戏进行不下去而点提示。不过游戏的成就只在游戏里能看到，并不能同步到steam。 游戏的剧情……我真的非常想吐槽。[spoiler]1代打大魔王的时候没能打死，只打跑了，现在过了几年大魔王又回来了，世界又危险了，大法师给女主角写信要她开传送门去大魔王那打败他，还把开传送门的道具分别寄存在几个朋友处，而大法师自己先去牵制大魔王。那就去找朋友们吧，结果世界都要被大魔王统治了，这么危急的时刻，可朋友们仍旧坚持要女主角先帮他们修自家的风车、整理菜地、医自己的宠物，然后才把传送门道具给她。最后终于开了传送门到了大魔王处，大魔王说你这小样还跟我打，我用一半的力量就能灭了你，然后大魔王选择了自己不出手，非喊来个小怪和女主角打，打的过程中大魔王就一直看着，也没出手，最后小怪被打死了，大魔王就跑路了，说好的一半力量就能灭了女主角呢？这是强行为了出3代吗？？？而且一直到游戏结束，我也没看到那个大法师露脸，他不是说来牵制大魔王了吗，人呢？？？[/spoiler] 总的来说，这是个还可以的作品。打折只要8块钱，而且买了还送1代。游戏时间约2个半小时，买来休闲是非常好的。
