I like this one better than the previous one. They have improved most everything. I could not finish the game because the victory acheivement never completed. There are other games like this where clearly I won but the game for some reason does not recognize that fact. So, I can continue or I can stop and start a new game. I'll still give it a 75/100.
This game is as good as the Civilization series of games. Ive lost a few and won a few. I recommend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very meh overall game experience. The building on planets is neat and all, but everything else is not very nice. It feels like a random assembly of not really well connected mechanics, very poorly balanced. The utter lack of QOL features is inexcusable and makes this game an exhausting experience to say the least. There is next to no automatization at all while requiring more and more micro management with every new station or planet. The map overview is bland, confusing and misleading. You couldn't find enemy fleets on it if they occupied its entirety. This game cannot hold a candle to titles such as Endless Space or Stellaris. Whatever gripes you have with annoying popups or bad automatization in THOSE games, THIS game is SO much worse.
Played one full run of this game and needed 30h on a large map. Early game exploration feels nice but after that planet management is tedious and victory conditions take too damn long to achieve. If I ever play another run, it is going to be on a much smaller map with less civillizations.
Fantastisches Spiel!
Hell yes
Yeah they pretty much sold you the same game with a slightly cleaner UI but probably worse to be honest. I mean there's new civs I guess but things like the colony system for example... you can't manage tiles for planets under level 10 not your core systems. Some people might like it because it's simplier but for me that's one element of strategy that gets taken away for less improved planets and you couldn't see a map of the surface of those worlds. The sector system is kind of dumb. There's so much stuff they could have done. Maybe have a more advanced the terraforming system and mechanics. Imagine if you could turn barren planets into fully habitable worlds and maybe enemy civs could damage your worlds climates and stuff. Other space games have that kind of stuff. There's a more advanced leader system I guess I can give credit for that but yeah umm... this needs something more to be honest. Most of the mechanics been the same. It's still fun but it feels just the same as Gal Civ 3.
Overall it's an awesome game! Beautiful graphics (seriously, zoom in on a space battle), fantastic races and organizations, multiple ways to progress depending on your gameplay style & decisions. Love it. My big problem is that multiplayer is totally busted 😭 I play multiplayer & team games almost exclusively, so that's a huge problem for me. You can set it up as a multiplayer/team game but if it crashes or you save & come back, teams is turned off and you can't regroup. That alone kills the game for me- if they fix that feature I'll play this game a LOT more!
$75 for Expansion Pass 2 is beyond absurd. The game is nothing but a cash-grab from developers more interested in squeezing their remaining players dry than delivering anything of real value. Another textbook “churn and burn” disaster: shovel out overpriced, half-baked content, watch it underperform, then keep milking it anyway until the community is exhausted and the game collapses under its own greed. No vision, no respect for players - just monetization first, quality dead last. EDIT: To the dev who responded, it's been over a month and store page still does not reflect the change you mention.
