Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a good time killer
I find this to be one of the best TBS games of all time. Hours and hours of fun.
If Civ Revolution didn't exist, this would be the best 4X game out there. (!Disclaimer! This game does not compete directly with Civ Rev. Being a space game and all. Both are great games worth experiencing for fans of the genre.) Epic sci-fi sandbox game that makes you feel like you are a real space fairing empire: -Good/Neutral/Evil. Completely wonderful. -Multiple tech trees, Wow! -Faction designer, ship designer, map designer, designer designer. Wow. Full customization. -I heard this game has diplomacy... I heard it is pretty good. -it even has a story!!!! ... ... That I will never play. -PEW! PEW! PEW! -Threatening sentient planets into submission. Funding your entire empire with... "Corn". Forcing crystals that cause fits of unimaginable pain into every last one of your pathetic colonists to bump their I.Q. a few points. A plethora of meaningful choices leading to endless possibilities. After I painstakingly re-balanced the game with mods... then braking the game with mods. It just went to a whole nother level. Still not as good as Civ Rev though. YOU LUCKY IT AIN'T ON STEAM!!! Gotta break out my busted ass Ps3... I ain't mad at it though. Great game. 8./10. Would be higher.... BUT... Overpriced DLC that is just chunks CARVED out of the base game... I mean GalCiv 2 had all the features they moved to dlc... So....They went with The Sims business model. In this economy? LllAaaMmmEee... Civ Rev would never do something like that... Just saying. (!Disclaimer!: We don't talk about other Civ games. Cus we don't play other Civ games. Civ Rev or Bust. Civ Rev for life. Civ peaked in high school, with Civ Rev. Each year it just loses another faculty and gains 20 pounds of fat. Gross.) Hope this Helps.

Cool
Godt gedigent spil, men det er meget tungt og der er mange lange load sekvenser, som gør det lidt trægt at spille.
I like the ability to create my own ships and model them after themes from sci-fi movies, TV shows, and games from my childhood. I really am impressed with the ability to frame an entire civilization's style, mood, culture, tech, and interactions with players. The 4X aspect of Galactic Civilization creates a new adventure each time. The one thing I would love to improve on for GC is its complex and tedious process of developing a new fleet. Building a ship and saving it to your build list would be the intuitive process for this but it's much more complex than that. Instead, It's a tedious trial-and-error procedure to build your own fleet ships and then integrate them into your new civilization. Revisiting this in future updates would be a huge benefit for all who love building scratch civilizations. A sense of scale is a problem where you often make a huge ship but ends up looking like a medium size hull. Getting front from back can become confusing when building a new hull. Maybe adding a colored side to the "front" of the starting cube might help. Saving as a "Template" to make your newly designed ship available for fleets was unknown to me until I read it in a blog. Make sure to save your ship as a ship first then as a Template because if you save it as a template first you will not find it in your user list of ships. GC has a lot of nuances and texture making it a truly fun game. Its made great strides in improving itself over the years and I am happy it's still getting the support and effort. Thank you to the team who brought it all together for us for a reasonable price. It is appreciated! Thumbs UP!
