About
Welcome to Funnel Runners, where you will have your first on-site deployment with APEX Storm Monitoring Services.
A high-priority F5 tornado is approaching, and we are counting on you (and up to 7 fellow friends) to collect data, scavenge necessary information, and, of course, survive.

The weather is your worst enemy here. Tornados and storms will spawn randomly, grow stronger over time, and tear the whole map apart. Buildings will collapse piece by piece, and items will no longer be found in destroyed areas, so you must adapt quickly. Be careful not to be swept up by the wind; you may not be found again.

In this mission, you can team up with 7 other players or tackle it solo. Share gadgets, split up to cover more ground, collect necessary information and items to fix the van before the situation turns bad.
With realistic graphics and a first-person perspective, the experience brings you close to every gust of wind, distant siren, and falling piece of debris.

Scavenge the collapsing city for scattered vehicle parts, fuel, and tools. These items will allow you to repair your van and help you survive the storm. Each playthrough features randomized environments, weather, items, and problems to solve on your vehicle. No playthrough will be the same.

While the game is still early access, and a bit of a fetch quest, the constant danger of twisters is a lot of fun. Playing games with friends always makes things better too! Looking forward to what the devs add to it in the future
A very interesting take on a survival style game. wish you where able to remove wheels off normal cars with the tool box thou. Extremely fun with friends. A bit frustrating when you can't find the last time you need and hope the storm shelter becomes used later on to act as a secondary exit if you can't escape in the van

For an early access multyplayer/singleplayer extraction style game its the best one I have played in a while. The storms are both realistic and a pain but hands down some of the best audio that makes you feel like your are in a hell storm. I cant wait to see what else the game will bring.
For one, the optimization/graphics as well as having controller support is really impressive as I play this on an Xbox ally x. Atmosphere is truly impressive from the sounds of thunder/lightning/rain to the visual skybox/debris/trees flowing/etc. so the atmosphere is 10/10 for me. The music in this game really surprised me as well. I love the chill vibe is gives in the waiting room. Would love more songs in that chill category. I went in knowing the game is still in the early stages so I’m not going to harp too much on obvious things like others. Acid rain is honestly the bane of my existence. I understand it’s supposed to make things more challenging but, there were sessions where two people out of a full party had umbrellas & literally none were in other buildings wasting time. I get it forces us to stay together however, when things are so spread apart it gets more annoying than feeling like a challenge. Hopefully there could be a hazmat outfit that gives a perk so acid rain doesnt effect you as badly. Maybe it’s because I’m on the ally x but there’s a huge ghosting issue especially at night with flashlights. Gets to a point I’d rather go dark than use the flashlight because the ghosting is so bad. I’d like to see different challenges for sure but, ones that would fit the theme and involve the tornadoes more. Maybe an ode to the original Twister movie, have us drop off a drum to release drones to collect data or something while we fix the van or like another wrote on here, have a mounted camera on the van that you use to observe different types of tornadoes or something. It would be nice the higher the difficulty the more kitted out your van becomes. Like you’d have more equipment to use but also more things to fix so it would make it a fun challenge/reward gameplay. Overall its easily become my favorite game because i absolutely love thunderstorms and rain. I love horror games and this game nails it. Great bones for sure and they have something special for sure. Boredom hasn’t hit me with this game as the tornadoes are always random which is fun. I recommend this game big time but, go in eith an open mind knowing you are at the beginning of something great.
It is a cool little game. With that being said, it is 100% not worth the price its being sold for. The replayability is minimal. I played twice: Lost once, Then one once. I have no incentive to continue playing. This game does not need to be a friendslop (lethal-like), but needs something to make me want to keep playing (Similar to how HELLDIVERS II gives you stronger gadgets while also introducing higher difficulty as you progress).
