A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.

not a bad game, just not a good one. You're basically paying $40 to see what StarCraft would feel like if it had less budget, uninspired factions, and copy paste hero units
This game look promising, but at the current state it is unjustifiable to sale at this price. With lack of content, some bug in campaign, no save options but auto save in campaign, and bad UI
In its current state, this game is a near replica of Stormgate; High promises but under-delivers in everyway. This game has managed to prove once again that Starcraft II pro's cannot and should not be in charge of balance or game design because they have 0 clue wtf they're doing. There is so little creativity and inspiration in this game that it makes Elon Musk's Cybertruck design look like a masterpiece and that thing looks like a Kindergartener designed that thing. This game features the follow features: -Hippie Zerg -Walmart Terran -Edgelord Protoss -Fourth faction? Couldn't tell because they share the same description as Edgelord Protoss -Broken Text -Terrible UI -Hard to read battles -Unit blobs -Hero units that dont scale to late-game -Indiscriminate matchmaking The matchmaking is so awful that my first battles EVER were versus the top players on the leaderboard (faced the rank 5 player twice in a row) I dont care about losing in a RTS that I haven't played before but to be placed instantly versus players who have already put in hours to gain MMR and facing people highly ranked already. These are all the same issues that Stormgate has/had and quite frankly, Zerospace has had plenty of time to address these issues and they missed by a lot. I'd be willing to try the game again at a later point IF I hear good things about it in the future but as it stands right now, I dont expect to play this game again. Dawn of War IV can't come any quicker.
I am having fun with this game but this should not have been released in an alpha build. Buyer beware.
Good game overall. The gameplay itself is good. The developers have a solid foundation they can build upon. The cutscenes, however, are pretty bad. The characters look oddly weird and unnatural. To be fair, it's not a dealbreaker, but it constantly pulls you out of the immersion. The campaign story is also pretty questionable. You get thrown into a world you know nothing about, and suddenly you're expected to make dialogue choices like, "I was the good guy" or "I was the bad guy." How am I supposed to know which one fits? The campaign also tries to imitate StarCraft II's upgrade system and bonus mission rewards, and I actually like that part. The UI is terrible. For a long time, I thought there wasn't even an option to cancel a building before it finished. Then I realized that Esc is the cancel button. For some reason, Esc also cancels queued units, upgrades, and building upgrades. One time I wanted to go AFK, so I pressed Esc expecting to pause the game. Instead, nothing happened. I kept pressing it until the game finally paused, only to realize I had canceled every building upgrade in progress. Then it happened again with unit production. Then again with research. It's a nightmare. The worst part is that you sometimes can't even click on the ground to deselect your current selection. Instead, you have to click on something with no function before Esc stops canceling things and actually works as expected. It's such a weird design choice. The keybindings also feel awkward, although I could probably get used to them over time. The UI itself is another issue. It looks like it was designed in MS Paint. Instead of feeling like I'm playing a game, it feels like I'm using some office software. There was a dream that Stormgate would become the successor to StarCraft II. Looking back, that ended up being pretty funny. The same comparisons are being made with ZeroSpace, but I honestly think the developers are at least genuinely trying instead of simply using SC2 as a marketing slogan. You can definitely feel touches of StarCraft II throughout the game. I also have the same concern I had with Stormgate regarding unit design. Stormgate went way overboard, and many of its units simply weren't enjoyable to use. ZeroSpace isn't nearly as bad, but I have concerns that it might end up going in the same direction. Instead of relying on a straightforward rock-paper-scissors system, many units are loaded with spells and special abilities. I don't want to give a final verdict yet, but I have a strong aversion to replacing simple unit interactions with units that have five different abilities. Utility is great when it's actually utility - not when it becomes the unit's primary weapon. I understand why Infestors in SC2 are fun and useful, but having what feels like eight different versions of Infestors that barely deal any direct damage just isn't enjoyable to me. I honestly don't think the Grell faction has a truly satisfying anti-air unit. Maybe if the Behemoth could attack air with splash damage? But that's exactly what I'm talking about - too many spells instead of units that simply do their jobs. There are plenty of bugs, but since the game is still in development, I don't think it's worth listing them individually. The price is another question. $45? Oof... that's expensive, even if all the current issues eventually get fixed. Overall, I'm giving the game a thumbs up. It has a lot of potential, and I genuinely hope it continues to improve.
At the end of the day its gotten a lot of improvements over the demo, with that said if you are here for the campaign I recommend waiting for a couple months and check back in. If you want pvp then I think its great it feels good to play and is responsive in my testing, each race and merc faction feels good to play with units having counter play and merc's having some really cool designs. If you want co-op then I think its good but there are bugs and while the galactic war is very cool it needs more missions and fleshed out, lots of good ideas.
Good gameplay flow at the moment. Frequent updates and patches. Great for PvE players like me. Starcraft-like, but with less stress regarding micromanagement and resource gathering.
Well the game is good of what I have played so far, its okay for a new RTS. But the campaign, the story and the overall writing in general is horrible. There is no real introduction to either the faction or the units. I have not seen any bugs so far, but I would not recommend this game, at full price right now. On a 50% discount it might be fine.
