I've had this game on radar for a while and honestly I think it's overhyped. The core gameplay is functional. Even on easy, luck of the draw can kill you quite quickly, for reasons basically out of your hands and there's no save scumming, restart goes all the way back to the start. Which I suppose is part of the appeal that makes this game a little more viable for some. And helps out with how short this game is. It does have that old console game feel, like you could be playing this on a C64 or an Atari or something. The story is not there. The graphics are marginal. The events once you've done them a few times are pretty repetitive.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just another horribly balanced indie game that sweaty weirdos will tell you that you have a "skill issue" at. It scales terribly even on easy, relies entirely on random chance and skill and tactics only take you so far. It's a short game that forces you to move quickly through each stage while getting upgrades along the way, if you're lucky enough to find them, punishes you for getting too many too quick or not enough too late and craps on you for going too far too soon, while not telling you in any way what you're doing wrong. I hate having my hand held in games, but this is like hand swatting whenever you try something. Wouldn't recommend to anyone that just wants typical fun in a game, that is simply fun. If you like being angry at pixels then this is probably for you.
Great game that has a large learning curve. This is the first time im playing the game after a long break and i havent won a single game yet. In all 6 years ive played the game ive beat it probably around 3-4 times on easy and ive been trying to beat it on normal ever since with no success. But i still keep trying because even the road to failure is fun and can teach you more than any guide or video ever could. You must account for every decision you make or else a simple missclick can end your entire run within seconds, or a decision youve taken 4 sectors ago can prove to be your undoing in the battle you're facing. The game throws you into the arena with nothing but trial and error. If you want to win in this game, you must put your pride aside, stop blaming the RNG and truly consider what decisions you've made that hurt your run, maybe its the false weapon you've bought at the store 3 jumps ago, or maybe the false upgrade you took? Or perhaps youre rushing through the sectors instead of collecting as much scrap as possible? Each run is entirely different from its predecessors and each time you have to take different decisions and analyze them upon the end of the game. Your success can also be affected by the ship of your choosing, ship A will be fundumentally different from ship B, so you must revise your strategy for the tactics you used on ship A wont apply on the current one. And there are a lot of ships available which you unlock as you progress through the game. Now about the lore, it isn't the richest one out there but it can be fun doing certain quests, as well as roleplaying if the curcumstances allow it. So if you are experienced enough and say that you win a large portions of your runs, or at least feel comfortable in your knowledge of the game, you could try out mods such as the Multiverse which completely overhauls the game and its lore, adding new factions, weapons and ships So yeah its a brutal strategy game which will punish you for the slightest mistakes you make, and thats why i love it and keep it alive
I wish they kept developing it
Attack all slavers. Not for any moral reason but because if you get them low they give you a free crewmember (slave).
