Prices

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts

About
Frostpunk 2 elevates the city-survival genre to a new level. Take the role of a Steward and lead your city through a cascade of calamities taking place in a postapocalyptic, snowy setting. Build large city districts with their string of endless needs and demands. Navigate through conflicting interests of factions that populate your metropolis. As the needs of the city grow and factional power at its core rises, only you can steer the society towards an uncertain future.

The world is overtaken by an ever present winter, which makes expansion of the city the only way for the survival of mankind. In order to grow, the metropolis needs resources like coal and oil, just like its citizens require food and warmth. In Frostpunk 2, it's your job to tackle this never ending circle of supply and demand.

The number of your citizens steadily grows, making the task of governing them and satisfying their demands all the more challenging. As the Steward you will have to maneuver carefully across the interests of many groups inhabiting the city.

People of your city want to have a voice in how you run things. Each faction has its own ideology and ideas for the future, yet they also have one thing in common - insatiable thirst for power. Choose your allies in the Council Hall wisely.

Make tough life-and-death decisions as you allocate heat across your city, supported by new research topics and heat-oriented laws. Choose districts that need the most warmth with the help of the Heat Management system with a detailed temperature overlay.

The story of Frostpunk 2 introduces a multi-chapter saga set in the frozen wastes. Spanning across the life of the Steward this campaign lets you feel the burden of leadership as you take the responsibility for thousands of lives. At the same time, the sandbox mode called Utopia Builder with infinite play time leaves you room for boundless social and infrastructural experiments.

Frostpunk 2 comes with a comprehensive and versatile modding tool. FrostKit will let you create your own maps, models, and scenarios inside the game. Now, only your imagination can limit the destination your city is heading to!

Reviews
Frostpunk 1 is much better than this game. This one feels boring and disappointing. If you came here because you loved Frostpunk 1, I honestly recommend staying with the first game and not wasting your money on this.
I was actually enjoying this one much more than frostpunk 1. But then I got hit with a bug once I colonised Winterhome. Everyone there got sick because of the gasses. Okay, I sent more people from New London to cover the geysers, succeeded that, but now those extra people are sick too. I tried to build hospitals but since everyone is sick no one is building. Okay, whatever, I'll send these people back to New London and let them recover there. They get back to New London, where they are no longer sick. Okay, great, let me send them back, right? Nope, as soon as they get to Winterhome they're all sick again. Wtf? Winterhome is literally unusable.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I understand the flip now. I kinda feel bad I didn't understand it. But they forgot the cardinal problem that happened to shows like Shameless and Walking Dead. Constant misery is just a drag. The uplifting moments can carry you out of it. Ixion did it with small things, Original Frostpunk did too. Small Reprieves. This one just starts you out being punished and losing population and there is NO way to fix it. Frostpunk 1 was the first game to make me almost cry when I finished it. It was actually breathtaking. Because the small moments reminded you about humanity. This game just gives me numbers that I can't stop, and that feels so bad playing a video game. I remember playing the DLC on that small patch of Island and I was just obsessed with doing it right. And now this, I get to choose a hexagon i build on, none of it matters at the start. You are always going to learn people.
FrostPunk2 is a mixed bag of a game. The graphics and setting are amazing! The numerous factions and technologies you can research are very cool. That said, the game came frequently be pretty frustrating; a game shouldn't make you made when you play it but this one absolutely does. It is disheartening to see your hard work go up in smoke due to decisions that are not within your control. It becomes easy for something to cause your whole city to spiral out of control. It is a game I have rage quit more than once and that is unusual for me.
I really wanted to like this game, but the UI and the gamplay system is too annyoing for me. It's hard for me to even finish the prologue because if the gameplay has changed so much from Frostpunk 1, It's less intuitive, more combersome to get quests done and removed from the people that you're trying to save by having it looking at it as a city building sim.
The reputation math in this game makes no sense. I cant finish a run because the faction rep is stuck in the red and I get voted out. I felt like I had an amazing run yet the game is not transparant about why I apparently failed. Mistakes made far in the past ruin your run in the future and you have no idea what it was or how to fix it.
