Old school but with added content to make it original. Nice :)
This game is a masterpiece in its genre. An upgraded version of "They are billions" for me personally and in its current state it already feels complete! So imagine, their EA feels more like dedicated free DLCs are coming than thousands of bugfixes and no progress. Honestly, fantastic job with this one devs!
Really enjoy this game played through the campaign and most of the survival missions. I like playing the robot faction the most. There are a lot of differences between the captains and whether you play human or robot and you earn points per map to level up your units and add skills and abilities. Very addicting gameplay.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I grew up with Command and Conquer, and played a lot of FTL as a young adult. If you combine those two and throw in some tower defense in the mix you get From Glory To Goo. It fuses real well, and I'm super happy to recommend this game. From Glory To Goo has fun mechanics, great design and enthralling atmosphere. The meta progression makes the game even more exciting, and I look forward to exploring more of the mechanics and strategies.
Good Game
yeah this game is good. i've only played survival so far and its a lot a fun. very thrilling wave based colony survival
It's a They-Are-Billions-like with some extra elements like a commander character on the field, a support ship in orbit, and a few meta upgrades which follow you from map to map that give it that "just-one-more-run" energy!
Can't believe I slept on this for so long. I've played They Are Billions, Cataclismo, Diplomacy is Not an Option and Age of Darkness: Final Stand, all games that are in the same genre and this after playing the demo and then a full match and looking through the insane amount of unlocks present already in the EA, I'm confident that this is going to be the best of the bunch is a huge recommend to everyone who is a fan of the genre and/or fans of the RTS genre in general. Also: I guess I wasn't paying attention to the tutorial, but about halfway through my first Survival game I clicked on a tab in the top right and realized that you build out your ship over the course of the match prior to it entering the atmosphere as the 'victory' endpoint of the map - and you can then continue playing and building it out while having it assist you with turrets from the upper atmosphere as you clear the map (which becomes much more intense from that point). Cool as hell.
Short, a little buggy, and a lot of fun. Chapter 1 of the campaign is all there is today (v0.3 - August 2026) which is somewhat short. I took my time and finished it in ~8 hours. (and that's just a single play-through. there's some interesting choices so I'll be doing a 2nd one) It's a bit like they are billions, but **much** less frustrating.
If you enjoy titles like They are Billions this game is for you. It has good variety of units, factions have different gameplay and there is first part of the campaign already available. Also pixel art goes so well with certain call in supports from your ship where you rain fair on the enemy waves approaching. This game is certainly worth its price tag. I have not encountered any major bugs and even when my save file was not loading the developer helped me and fixed it in no time!
