FreezeME

A neat little Mario64 clone with elements of other 3D plattformer. Several features like the Freeze Camera are keeping this game unique. Story is way shorter than any 3D Mario game (but long enough for the price ;-) ). Music is great! Graphics are outdated, but the flair covers this downside. Achievements are weird, you are not even supposed to finish the game to 100%. Overall worth a try!

FreezeME tries to be a 90's style platformer, like Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie. In some ways it succeeds, and in quite some ways it does not. The controls for example, are not that good. Not terrible, but just not very smooth and fun. The music is decent, but not very memorable or of very high quality. It tries to emulate Mario 64. Levels and worlds are filled with stuff to do and climb, but feel a bit messy. The main character, story, game gimmick and visual design all feel a bit weak. A lot of people report problems using controllers, though i didn't have any issues with my wireless Xbone controller. If you've played A Hat in Time or Yooka-Laylee and want more of the same quality, you won't find it here. FreezeME is mediocre at best when comparing it to those games, and feels more like an unfinished early access game. However, there is some fun to be had, it seems to have a decent amount of content and scratches at least some of the 3D platforming itch. You should go in with low expectations though. I got this game on sale for 2.70, and i think this game is worth that amount. I would not recommend buying this game at full price, however.

Horrible controls. For a 3D platfformer it's unbelievably dumb how ridiculous it is to control the character conpared to games like Mario, banjo, crash, spyro and even yooka laylee. PS the achievement list is weak. The 4 hours I have on record is what you need to 100% if you know what you're doing. Could have did it faster too. The game 100% probably takes about a next hour. But that's if you know the game already like I did. If not, it should get you atleast 10h. But unless your a big 3d platformer person like me, skip it. It has good ideas but it just plays bad function wise

E' praticamente Super Mario 64, con grafica semi-moderna (non realistica, puntano a stile animazione) e la possibilità di "congelare" nemici o piattaforme in movimento (l'ho giocato solo per poche ore, non so dire se sarà molto usata o no, per ora è stato necessario usarlo un paio di volte). Per il resto, non scherzo, è davvero uguale: chi ha giocato a uno si troverà a suo agio nell'altro.

I respect the effort, but its just not quite there.
