FreezeME is a A 3D platformer in the style of the 90s-era but wait there is a twist! The main character “R” has one special tool – a camera around her neck. This camera allows her to literally freeze the objects she photographs.

The game controls are broken. It's a plataformer game, the controls must work correctly, almost to perfection. The jumps are unconsistent, the camera moves on its own even with auto-cam off, the wall jumps don't always work. I like the desing, it's a fun approach, but I couldn't stand the bad controls and camera. The moment I nearly punch my PC out of rage was during the slide bonus level. I tried my best to like it, I loven Mario64, but you can't do what the game expects you to.
FreezeME is a good platform, with a nice colorful graphics (Nintendo style) In the game use "R" with his camera must capture objects to overcome obstacles, and defeat enemies! The game has a very simple plot (like almost all platform), I encountered two problems in the game: the first "camera", the second commands sometimes do not respond well to these two problems which I hope will be resolved through patches. In short it is a good game, that manages to entertain, buy it if you like platform games. But always consider the problems that I have mentioned! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZSSEd1_Na0
(Below is the Italian full review)
Only playable from a position of blind rage driven entirely by perceiving the game as a personal threat which must be neutralized. Fun then though.
As someone who has missed the bygone era of 3D platformers, I decided to give FreezeME a whirl and fortunately, I wasn't disappointed. FreezeME pays homage to Rare's classic platformer Banjo Kazooie and Nintendo's Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy so people familiar with those series will feel at home with FreezeME. The worlds are big, bright and colorful with puzzles/tasks spread across each of them. People who have played Super Mario 64 will be familiar with completing individual tasks and being rewarded with a star for their troubles; it's the same premise with FreezeME but instead of stars, you're rewarded with golden cubes. The scope of the worlds is impressive with individual planets (al a Super Mario Galaxy style) reached by launching R from a cannon. I was at first hesitant to make my purchase after reading other reviews and thoughts about the control system and mechanics. Controlling R certainly feels "heavy" and not as fluid as controlling Mario in Super Mario 64. Jumping and landing can be sporadic in places but controls, at least in my case, have began to grow on me and fortunately, it hasn't deterred my enjoyment from the game. The camera work is also not as refined though still adaptable with free reign to adjust camera options and predictability in the settings. I personally use an Xbox 360 controller's right stick to control the camera and hitting the "Y" button to center the camera behind R when needed. The soundtrack is very bright and colorful; I'm fondly reminded of Grant Kirkhope's Banjo Kazooie effort and Koji Kondo's Super Mario 64 score. In no way does it grate on you and it's pleasant to listen to. To conclude, FreezeMe is a good effort from an indie developer and while it certainly lacks the polish and fluid controls I had come to expect from Nintendo and Rareware platformers, you can't go far wrong with FreezeME for its price-point. 7/10.
This a Early review it suggest to change i kinda have mixed feeling. Your worst enemy is the camera. Argh The control aren't right you can't do precise movement and jump. and swimming is a hell you don't go in the right direction. You often stuck in the wall fight the camera. the camera target to freeze not easy to aim. maybe i really need a working controller to play that game because it a hell with the keyboard The gameplay kinda good. but far at good mario 64 but npc are a little annoying and noisy or maybe i don't like pig. Very Bad camera and poor control give a vote down for now.
this game gave my cancer cancer
OK, I know that this game is maybe still in development, and that it was a while there was a game like this on a non-nintendo platform, but this game is just... you know, I am not going to try and hide it anymore: I hate this game! Now before you get your pitchforks and guns, let me explain. I feel the worlds are too big, and way too hard to navigate, especially with no map. The camera is downright HORRIBLE! You will always be clicking the stick to center because you cannot angle it for some dumb reason. The controls are kinda good, which is needed, but underwater, R (Yes, that is her real name) just goes even if you don't press a button, despite it saying you need to press something to swim. The humor may be fun, but I only have 2 of those golden boxes. Man, I just hate this game. Let's hope further 3D platformers are better than this... thing. (I do admit that I guess I was hard on the game, but I guess that is what opinions are for)
A callback to old N64 platformers. There are definitely some frustrations that carry over from the old games, but it's still amazing!
It has soul but it just too clanky and unpolished. Sadly I can't recommend it.
