I'm sad that I've decided to retire my playing of Forza Motorsport. I really really liked my time with it when it works properly. Racing is just an absolute joy. The game automatically put my settings at 2k resolution, I believe high settings. This worked okay with the early slow cars but more and more lag started to show. Eventually I changed the settings to 1080p medium settings but no matter how I downgrade, though the lag isn't there anymore, more and more bugs and glitches started to show up. Often parts of the track will suddenly just become blank. Loading times are pretty bad. Online I will lose connection even though my connection is fine. Offline I'll finish a long endurance race, get a very long loading time, only to get zero credits for my efforts. All the while the game just doesn't look good at these settings. It's not enjoyable anymore like this. I'm told the console version doesn't have these issues. Either way, bad performance and bugs kill it.

Great racing game—straightforward, not overly complex, and plays wonderfully with a controller. Weather engine in great, you start the race during sunset and end the race in darkness, lovely! Better than Horizon 6 if your focus is just .... racing :)
