Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The truth is in the details.
In Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, you are the scientific authority that provides investigators with the facts. Your work begins when the sirens fade and silence settles over the crime scene.

With a cool head and a trained eye, you enter apartments, bars, and basements where something unimaginable has happened — or is said to have happened. Equipped with professional tools, you search for what others miss: a subtle fingerprint on a wine glass, a deleted message on a smartphone, a tiny blood spatter that casts doubt on a statement.

From Crime Scene to Laboratory:
Securing evidence is only the beginning. In the lab, the evidence tells its story. You compare DNA profiles, reconstruct bullet trajectories, decrypt digital devices, and piece together fragments into a clear overall picture. Your analyses incriminate perpetrators — or exonerate the innocent. Not every bloody crime scene is a murder. And not everything that seems obvious is the truth.

“Based on the experience and insights of experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).”
With professional guidance from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate, the game portrays forensic work as authentically as possible. Crime Scene Work & Laboratory Analysis:

Incriminate or Exonerate:
Your work determines the fate of suspects. Discover whether it was self-defense, murder, an accident, or a staged crime scene.
Your Instinct Matters:
You decide which traces are relevant. Overlooked evidence can leave a case unsolved.

Pretty cool game, although it lacks a gamma setting so I wasn't able to correct the brightness at all which was slightly annoying. I'm also wondering if there will be additional levels added.

I enjoyed every minute of this gameplay! very detailed and awesome. i cant wait for future cases!!
I played the demo for this game and enjoyed it so much I bought it when it released. I studied Criminal Justice and specialized in Forensics with the career goal to be a crime scene investigator. While my career aspirations have not yet come to fruition, this game scratches the itch of wanting to feel like a crime scene investigator. The various evidence types such as biological, ballistics, and tech covers the "big" components that are present in most CSI drama shows and high-profile cases. As far as the mechanical aspect of gameplay, I find that leaning is somewhat awkward and it can be hard to maintain camera focus. In the demo you had to actually place the light to keep the fingerprint illuminated, which is no longer a thing in the release. This is a good quality-of-life for gameplay adjustment. However, it seems to take away from the realism (minimally though). The other gameplay aspect that is odd to me is needing to get the trajectory, but the only real analysis is at the one lab station. There is nothing further that is done by the player when it comes to trajectory. Due to the nature of a crime scene investigator's job, I was not expecting much of a story. I would love to see even more evidence types added to the game such as shoe-prints or tire marks. :)
I don't usually write reviews for games, however, I feel like it is much needed for this game. When loading up the game it looks good, however, the actual game play side isn't the best. When documenting evidence you constantly have to switch between your camera and evidence markers that are in a case that can't be moved, which is just annoying and unrealistic. Additionally, the recovering evidence from broken technology is glitchy. When you use the vacuum to pick it up, if you miss putting it in the designated case, you can't pick it back up which lowers your overall score. Furthermore, the came is named 'Crime Scene Detective' which suggests that you are investigating crimes, when you are simply just collecting evidence. I think the game has huge potential to be an absolutely amazing game, however, as it's early days the bugs and other fine tuning of the game needs to be completed yet. I would recommend this game, as I feel it will only get better as development continues.
