Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The truth is in the details.
In Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, you are the scientific authority that provides investigators with the facts. Your work begins when the sirens fade and silence settles over the crime scene.

With a cool head and a trained eye, you enter apartments, bars, and basements where something unimaginable has happened — or is said to have happened. Equipped with professional tools, you search for what others miss: a subtle fingerprint on a wine glass, a deleted message on a smartphone, a tiny blood spatter that casts doubt on a statement.

From Crime Scene to Laboratory:
Securing evidence is only the beginning. In the lab, the evidence tells its story. You compare DNA profiles, reconstruct bullet trajectories, decrypt digital devices, and piece together fragments into a clear overall picture. Your analyses incriminate perpetrators — or exonerate the innocent. Not every bloody crime scene is a murder. And not everything that seems obvious is the truth.

“Based on the experience and insights of experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).”
With professional guidance from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate, the game portrays forensic work as authentically as possible. Experience cases drawn from real life: sober, logical, and relentless in their evaluation of evidence. Find the traces. Analyze the facts. Reveal the truth.

Realistic Forensics:
Use authentic tools such as DNA swabs, fingerprint powder, ballistic trajectory rods, and digital forensic tools.
16 authentic Cases, Real Methods:
Missions are inspired by real scenarios and based on the experience and insights of real experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).
Crime Scene Work & Laboratory Analysis:
The gameplay loop challenges you twice — first through meticulous crime scene investigation, then through logical data analysis in the lab.
Incriminate or Exonerate:
Your work determines the fate of suspects. Discover whether it was self-defense, murder, an accident, or a staged crime scene.
Your Instinct Matters:
You decide which traces are relevant. Overlooked evidence can leave a case unsolved.

While I did enjoy the game play it isn't really what I was wanting to play. No detective work, no autopsies, not even semi-realistic crime scenes. SPOILER In a few cases the victim gets shot and despite such an intense wound there's never more then a few drops of blood. There's only one scenario that gets at least a little visceral but it's just wine and no actual crime occurred. While I don't need gore to have gun in a game if someone gets shot and dies it's hard not to get pulled out of the game and story when it looks more like a papercut made someone drop a gun.
i may refund this game because i think there is a bug where u cant go through the first mission after a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of tutorials an nonsense ,but for 20 bucks one mission hardly seems fair also some freezing in places ive past the 4 mission an solved the first case an then theres nothing smh
I need more. Played for 10 hours and completed the game. Please give me more.
I like this game. I guess other people can’t get good ratings so they don’t unlock more cases. I think it would be nice if we could turn off lights to look for fingerprints. Some other investigation tools would be nice. I don’t know if theirs a case like this, but if theirs a murder case I think it would be cool to physically question the suspects. This game has potential to be really good. Excited to see what’s in store for the game.
A Weekend Well Spent Overall Verdict: A solid time-killer with entertaining cases, though depth and variety could be improved. This game excels as a casual experience perfect for killing time and losing a weekend to engaging gameplay. The core mechanics are accessible and fun, pulling you into each investigation with a satisfying sense of progression. If you're looking for something to unwind with that doesn't demand intense concentration, this delivers. Case Depth Whilst the cases are entertaining, they lack the investigative depth that would elevate this from a good distraction to a genuinely compelling experience. Each investigation feels somewhat surface-level—more like ticking boxes than truly unravelling a mystery. Greater complexity in case narratives, red herrings, and branching paths would transform this into something truly memorable. Fingerprint Over-Reliance The investigation mechanics lean too heavily on fingerprint evidence as a primary solution method. This becomes repetitive and undermines the variety of forensic techniques at your disposal. A better balance across different evidence types would make investigations feel less formulaic. Equipment Management The most tedious aspect is the constant back-and-forth required to access equipment cases. Having the ability to move or relocate these cases would dramatically improve quality-of-life and reduce unnecessary friction during investigations. Forensic Variety Expanding the scope of forensic techniques would add substantial depth. More emphasis on IT forensics, digital evidence analysis, and cyber-based investigations could differentiate cases and offer fresh challenges beyond traditional physical evidence. This is exactly what it sets out to be: an enjoyable, bite-sized investigative experience. It won't revolutionise the genre, but it's perfectly adequate for a weekend binge. With refinements to case depth, evidence variety, and user-friendly equipment accessibility, this could become something truly special. Recommendation: Worth playing if you want a casual forensic adventure; just manage expectations around investigation complexity and mechanical repetition.
